Always buy companies with bullish management. If management is bullish, I am bullish. If management is bearish, they will sell and dump their shares on you.
This is what happened to Ta-ann and TSH Resources. Management betraying retail investors and shareholders. Harnlen is different

Insiders know that they are going to propose bonus issue this year and slowly push up the share price from 0.70 to highest 2.08 today
It will face some corrections for sure,pls don't greedy fir bonus issues, nothing special and attractive right now,unless they pay special dividend

Need to look at the long term. We could be looking at a long energy (crude oil, palm oil) bull run. It is not over yet. Kuala Lumpur Kepong, oil companies like ExxonMobil will keep making money. Both energy and plantation sectors will be good for a long time.

If Pakatan Harapan wins the next election, it will be bad for Harnlen and plantation sector because of tax policies on commodity companies. Plan accordingly.

Bad for corporations because government will boost taxes and increase spending to "help the people". In reality, government will increase corporate tax and spend it on infrastructure and green energy. These are all bad for commodity producers that have low ESG/sustainability score.
KLSE will have a slight sell-off if PH takes the election and vice versa. Foreign investors really hate Anwar Ibrahim and Mahathir. A few years ago, when PH was elected, huge equity outflows in Tenaga, Petronas Dagangan and Kuala Lumpur Kepong. Inflows in telecommunication and tech companies like Time Dotcom, Greatech and Malaysian Pacific Industries (2019 - 2021).

Harnlen is a very well-managed company. Energy and plantation will definitely do well. If labour shortage didn't happen, plantation sector would've done much better. My final price target for Harnlen and last comment on this forum. It has been a wild ride for all investors/traders. Good bye and good luck to y'all

Harn Len Corp Bhd’s shareholders have approved its eight-for-five bonus issue of 399.24 million shares at the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) today.
“The proposed bonus issue of shares serves to reward existing shareholders for their loyalty and continued support to Harn Len group.
“The board had taken into consideration that the proposed bonus issue of shares will enable shareholders to increase the number of Shares held with no cash outlay required, while retaining their percentage of equity interest held,” Harn Len said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

“The resultant lower theoretical ex-bonus Harn Len share prices as compared to the existing Harn Len share prices before the proposed bonus issue of shares may provide an avenue for shareholders to participate in Harn Len shares at a lower price point,” Harn Len said.
The proposed bonus issue is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2022.

Sold Plantation in 2020, now buy almost vacant land? Reason food security business. Can anyone explain the rationale behind MD moves? Or because last time sold and make a profit and now buy land to start another plantation?
Jakel needs money to rebuild the outlet after 2 infernos. Suspicious fires may delay insurance payments. So is this a good buy opportunity for Harn Len? Looks like sell on news? More shares are to be issued at 70 sen a piece for part cash and balance in shares consideration.
