avelle Favco Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company's product line consists of heavy lift Offshore, Tower, Wharf and Crawler Cranes. Its tower cranes include Kroll cranes, which are heavy lifting electric hammerhead cranes, and Favelle Favco cranes, which are high speed diesel hydraulic luffing cranes. The Company offers two main series, which include rope luffing and ram luffing set-ups. Its crawler cranes include lattice boom and telescopic boom. Its wharf cranes include level luffing bulk handling cranes. It offers both luffing and hammerhead cranes with diesel hydraulic and electric setups. It operates through Inside Malaysia and Outside Malaysia segments.

Before the dividend announcement, this forum only has 3-5 comments every week. After the 85 cent dividend, everyone, uncle and auntie from Facebook came to comment here. Simple, because they missed out.

In my view, I think FAVCO is a good company with solid business. I was a shareholder. However, after 85 sen is distributed, it will effectively become a company which is without surplus cash (after balance cash is netted against borrowings). However, given its track record of past performance, it should not have problem obtaining financing from banks. Would like to hear from anyone with a different view. Please enlighten. TQ.

Since tomorrow is ex-date for dividen, tomorrow price should open low -RM0.85, OPEN price should at rm2.41 if refer to current price rm3.26. Correct me if im wrong

Hi hi, cannot trap me, i already know before ex date and sold before ex date as the chart with flat top depicts operator not going to push (as i entered second time at above rm3.20) and also afraid majority shareholders would sell and let you no chance to escape since Muhibbah need fund (opinion).

based on my past experience, when a common owner move money from company X to company Y, means he is shifting attention from X to Y. The smart move is Sell X swap to Buy Y.
in this case, X is Favco, Y is Muhibbah.

Ex-dividend price should have been 2.40 (3.25 - 0.85)... It drops non-stop since going ex-div, really scary......
