Structured warrants are proprietary instruments issued by a third-party issuer, namely an eligible broker or financial institution that give holders the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call warrants) or sell (put warrant) the underlying instrument in the future for a fixed price.
A call warrant is in-the-money when the exercise price is lower than the price of the underlying share.
A put warrant is in-the-money when the underlying share price is lower than the exercise price.

Mother share 46.5 sen. Warrant is expensive at 30 sen since exercise price is 27 sen. Buy mother share cheaper.

Hongpohseng: your warrant price per share + exercise price (0.27) per share = your cost per share. Due 2018 April 24. Matthew, warrant higher gain but come with no voting rights + no dividend entitlement.

warrants = 0.34 + exercise price 0.27 = 0.61, mother share now = 0.46. premium = 0.34/(0.46-0.27)= 79% , mother share is worth to hold, warrants price may not chase up if mother share shoot, since premium very high

premium=(warrant price+exercise price-current share price)/current share price x 100%=(0.34+0.27-0.46)/0.46 x 100%=32.6%

more people r dabbling with warrant 13/18 , not a good sign coz warrant price is double of mother after conversion? not a play play situation now !
