Vietnam misses out on Intel, LG Chem investments due to lack of incentives, ministry document shows
The ministry document confirmed a November report by Reuters that Intel had shelved a planned investment in Vietnam that could have nearly doubled the U.S. chipmaker’s operation in the Southeast Asian country.
The document added that Austria-based semiconductor manufacturer AT&S had decided to invest in Malaysia after its request for investment supports in Vietnam were not met, and said Samsung Electronics was moving some production to India.

Survey shows an investor preference for the region’s EM giants
Strategists see Asian equities outperforming US to year-end
Equities in China and India are being touted as potential outperformers in Asia in the second half of the year as investors flock to emerging-market themes.
About a third of 19 Asia-based strategists and fund managers surveyed informally by Bloomberg News said they see Chinese stocks outstripping most over the next six months. A similar number picked India as their top bet while Japan was a distant third.

If Trump in power he will put America First
That means he will
1. Put a tariff of 10% on all nations and for China 60% tariff (tax)
All profits of exporting countries to Usa will decline due to taxation
2. He will tell US factories to shift back to US soil or face fines
3. He will encourage all to set up Factories in USA to create jobs for US citizens
Knowing this ahead we should now look for Stocks which do not depend on export to the USA
So we still hold palm oil
All the more reason to hold since palm oil major buyers are from India, China, EU and Middle East
I am selling more and more others into strength and switching more and more into 🌴🌴🌴 🔥 🔥🔥

US stocks surged on Thursday as upbeat consumer and labour data fuelled a rally, easing recession fears and bolstering investor confidence.
Semiconductor stocks outperformed the broader market on Thursday. Semiconductor ETFs, including SOXX and XSD, surged by 4.8 per cent and 5.4 per cent respectively. Industry leader Nvidia surged 4 per cent, whilst Broadcom and Monolithic Power Systems grew 5.4 per cent and 6.7 per cent respectively.
