Mrs Maureen Leong served as the Group Chief Financial Officer of The Straits Trading Company Limited ("STC") from 23 September 2009 to 30 April 2012. During this period, she had overall responsibility for the financial functions, including treasury, tax, insurance, risk management and capital management of STC and its group of companies.

Mrs Maureen Leong has more than 30 years of experience in finance, tax and treasury management in various industries, having started her career with DBS Bank, before moving on to Deloitte & Touche, the Sembcorp Group and STC Group of Companies. Before joining STC, her last appointment was Executive Vice President of Sembcorp Industries Ltd, another company listed on the main board of SGX.
