Azri Azerai, Executive Chairman of Malaysian Genomics, enthused, "Our alliance with PPASM offers a powerful blend of cultural outreach and advanced biopharmaceuticals, empowering Malaysians to take charge of their health. Investors should recognize this collaboration as a broadening of our market scope and a reiteration of our commitment to innovative healthcare solutions."

Jawed Hussain Bin Datuk Raman Wahid, President/National Director of PPASM

Jawed Hussain Bin Datuk Raman Wahid, President/National Director of PPASM, said, “In this line of work, we will need to always be in the best shape to give the best of ourselves in our work and to the audience. Working together with MGRC we can learn more about not just our health, but preventive healthcare as well.”

The partnership will kick off with both parties taking an active role in organising educational and promotional events. These include but are not limited to online and offline campaigns that will benefit from the unique strengths of each partner. PPASM’s connections in the arts and culture sector combined with MGRCH’s scientific proficiency are expected to amplify the reach and impact of these health awareness campaigns.

The collaboration also has a charitable aspect, with net proceeds from the Miss International Malaysia 2023 event going to CSR initiatives such as Sandakan Break Cancer Support Association, Kinabalu Pink Ribbon, and the Meraki Daat Sabah Initiative. This move ensures that the collaboration is not just beneficial in raising awareness and educating the public, but also has a tangible impact on charitable organisations working in similar domains.

In the spirit of September being Blood Cancer Awareness month, MGRCH also recently collaborated with Yayasan Kanser Malaysia (“YKM”) to elevate cancer awareness and the importance of early detection within the community by utilising MGRCH’s advanced genomic and immunotherapy service, including cutting-edge CAR-T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells.

As of 8 September 2023, MGRC’s share price was at RM0.485, with a market capitalisation of RM66.55 million.
