SYSTECH SIGNS COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH PINETOP TECHNOLOGY TO ESTABLISH AI-POWERED DATA CENTRES

Partnership to Leverage Combined Expertise in AI and IT Solutions to Drive Data Centre Development

KUALA LUMPUR, 05 SEPTEMBER 2024Systech Bhd (“Systech”), a deep-rooted digital corporate solutions provider, is pleased to announce that SysAIU Sdn. Bhd. (“SysAIU”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Systech, inked a Collaboration Agreement (“Agreement”) with Pinetop Technology Venture Sdn. Bhd. (“Pinetop”), marking a significant milestone in the establishment of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) Data Centres in Malaysia.

Under the terms of this Agreement, SysAIU will be responsible for sourcing and managing the essential equipment and infrastructure for the project. This includes high-performance graphics processing units (“GPUs”), servers, storage systems, networking equipment, cooling systems, and power supply units. SysAIU will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for performance, reliability, and compliance. Additionally, SysAIU will provide technical support, training, and resources to facilitate the efficient and effective use of the infrastructure by data centre staff and stakeholders.

Pinetop, on the other hand, will contribute its extensive experience in AI Data Centre operation and development. Pinetop will provide server and GPU services alongside technical support for these critical components. Furthermore, Pinetop will be responsible for developing the necessary applications and software required for the data centre operations. This includes designing, coding, testing, and deploying software that will optimise the data centres’ functionality and efficiency. Pinetop’s role will be instrumental in ensuring that the data centres not only meet current technological demands but are also adaptable to future advancements in AI and data processing technologies.

For information, Pinetop is a dynamic Malaysian company specialising in the development and operation of AI Data Centres and IT software solutions. The company is renowned for its expertise in designing and building web and mobile applications, as well as developing Large Language Modules (“LLMs”). Pinetop is a channel partner of a leading global data centre operator with facilities across all seven continents, including a significant presence in Johor, Malaysia.

As at 5:00 P.M., 5 September 2024, the share price of Systech Bhd closed at RM0.33, representing a market capitalisation of RM212.70million.
