Dear all,
qqq3 ask, “What is FA? I got new theory for stock market.....stock market is all about attitude.............”
So please allow me to answer qqq3.
Fundamental analysis (FA)
Fundamental analysts study anything that can affect the stock's value, including macroeconomic factors (e.g. economy and industry conditions) and microeconomic factors (e.g. financial conditions and company management). The end goal of fundamental analysis is to produce a quantitative value (Intrinsic Value) that an investor can compare with a stock's current market price, thus indicating whether the stock is undervalued or overvalued. Fundamental analysis is a method of evaluating a stock in an attempt to assess its intrinsic value.
In summary Fundamental Analysis cover:
QUANTITATIVE
Financial data/ratio contain in current and past financial report.
QUALITIVE
Economy condition (Current and future)
Industry condition (Current and future)
Company management (Current and future)
Profit growth prospect (Current and future)
In short what many people term as Business Sense (BS) is actually the qualitative part of Fundamental Analysis. BS is subset of FA.
Technical Analysis (TA)
Technical analysis is a trading discipline employed to evaluate investments and identify trading opportunities by analyzing statistical trends gathered from trading activities, such as price movement trade volume and focus on patterns of price movements, trading signals and various other analytical charting tools to evaluate a security's strength or weakness. Thus TA pattern is influence by Greed & Fear (Behavior pattern) and will be most effective if use together with FA Qualitative study of Economic condition and Industry condition that create greed and fear where people will panic buy or panic sell as no one will look at FA quantitative financial data
What is attitude?
A predisposition or a tendency to respond positively or negatively towards a certain idea, object, person, or situation. Attitude influences an individual's choice of action, and responses to challenges, incentives, and rewards (together called stimuli).
Dictionary: noun: attitude; plural noun: attitudes
A settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior. "She took a tough attitude toward other people's indulgences"
Informal• North American
Truculent or uncooperative behavior; a resentful or antagonistic manner.
"I asked the waiter for a clean fork, and all I got was attitude"
So did qqq3 attitude toward stocks investment and others make him a multi-millionaire or left him with 200K to invest and earned people respect or contempt? This one he has to take responsibility and find the answer for himself.
The million dollar question now, can understanding of FA and TA make you a millionaire?

I3lurker uses computers to think for him. That is why his results are always subpar. If I have listen to Monte Carlo simulation, I would not have held QL from 2009 until today 2020 and still going up from 6.7 to 8.6. In essence, Monte Carlo simulation only works if you assume efficient markets. Which I believe do not exist.

at low and safe level of 2.40, they will say end of world coming and want to jump down from KLCC
when one day goes up to 4.20, they will come out and say it has very bright prospects and it is time to sailing. I have seen it happens so many times.

Nothing! There is no secret ingredient. Po: It’s just plain ol’ noodle soup?
Your mind is like the water, my friend. When it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear.
My attitude:
Be ethical, be brave, be fair, be courteous, be considerate, be kind, be righteous, be happy, love what your heart see and be what you ought to be.

P/S:
My Life philosophy: Work hard and do not stay still in your circle of competent/comfort zone. Constantly challenge your limit. Past failures do not mean future failure as long as you are prepared to learn from all and re-examine your mistakes/methods.
My Investment philosophy: Looking for stocks that give reasonable dividend yield and capital appreciation. Understand that in order to bag a 10 bagger, need patience to wait for next market crash. If it occurs I am prepare, if it doesn’t happen I am fine with my current investments

Aiyo, you keep saying vague things, how other people believe you?
If you don't have evidence, you won't have credibility you know.
If no evidence, this is libel against OTB. Very bad.

Dear Tiger66,
I work backward, net profit for unit 1 is 170 million per year.
The net profit for 2 units equal to 340 million a year.
My projection of RM 250 million can be easily achieved in 2021.
Please check and advise.
Thank you.

this OTB up to his old trick......special talent to make people lose money............

I am a trader......mostly short term trader......refining, adapting, all the time.
Short term traders no need to apologise..........Traders are flexible, adaptable, like water......Cannot kill me one..
Maybe in sustained bull markets, I don't make as much as you..........but in recent market down turn, I don't get hurt , in fact none at all..........My portfolio value is at or near record high having sold most of my shares recently as I don't like political situation and the virus...........
One more thing.........
stock market...........truly all about attitude..........what shares to buy, how many...its all about attitude. When to charge in, when to charge out, all about attitude.
Refining...........
I find....for individuals, there is no better way to play share market than to be focused, very focused. ala........KYY style.
The way most people play stock market , quite useless one. Most people what they do is ....they hear some thing, buy a few lots here, a few lots there.......In totality, its really useless. Some make, some lose .....when market crash, hand full of shares, all types of shares, its really useless way to play. When market good, buy some sell some.......also quite useless. There is also the re-investment problem buying ever higher and higher during good times.
Presently, I have only SCIB and Kpower.....and much fewer than at its peak.
Being more focused, I am progressing. I can see the progress. And I can buy and sell the same shares as I try to extract trading profits from the same shares depending on market situation. Very good way to go about doing things.
But, as I say.....stock market ...is all about attitude.

every thing boils down to attitude...........
attitude towards information, attitude towards the situation , the condition, the risks,...............
stock market......not about intelligence or smartness but about attitude......
let the CFAs talk about portfolios..........for me, its about attitude when the opportunity presents itself............
ps....by the way.....that OTB guy is just a con man..........
