The Federal Open Market Committee will meet over the next 2 days. The Fed Funds futures indicate a 50% chance of a rate rise in the June meeting. Some investors are questioning whether the Fed should reinstate a 'live' meeting which is the simple condition that an interest rate move is possible at every meeting. Such investors feel that such a move will reduce market volatility.
