Sharing of stocks in klse based on both fundamental and technical analysis to get more insights and sharing of opinions. Feel free to share your ideas and thoughts, together we will be better investors~

Magna Prima is currently trading at RM1.63 with a NTA of RM1.83. However, yesterday HUAYANG BERHAD has announced they have bought 10.84% of Magna Prima total issued shares with a price of RM1.85, its a 13.5% premium to its current market price.

Refering to the basis of them paying such high premium, Huayang Berhad mentioned that their valuation on Magna Prima landbank and development potentials are worth such high price tag!!! Huayang Berhad being a conservative property developer will not simply pay such high price for a property company especially in such property industry environment. We believe there will be more agenda behind it.

So, at current price tag of RM1.63, is Magna Prima undervalued? More interesting is that its MAGNA-WB is currently trading at a discount to its mother shares. We believe the market has undervalued its potential and there are more space for growth, somehow there are others who are willing to pay higher price which shows their confidence in it!

Happy investing as always~

HYB wouldn't be paying such premium if they don't have confidence in acquiring the whole company. I believe, there are many more agendas behind, since MPB has many undeveloped; strategic lands.

Even without sufficient cash at this moment, there are many other ways that they can work on, I.e. by signing longer term agreements etc.
That's just my guess. It doesn't make sense to me to purchase direct at much higher prices, while the market trading lower
Unless, my ultimate goal is to acquire majority of the shares, to have control over the company
My bet is still, MPB being undervalued, and worth to invest. Let's see!

HYB is eyeing on MPB premium landbank thats why they willing to pay at premium, those landbank worth alot more if they developed it in future...HYB has enough cash to be the substantial shareholder in MPB
