The Complex is an interactive science fiction thriller film with a theme that's perhaps a little too close to home for some.

London has been hit by a bio-weapon attack and people everywhere are falling ill and dying. Two scientists locked down in a hermetically-sealed laboratory are trying to find answers as both time and oxygen run out.

It's the player's - or perhaps viewer's - mission to research the causes of the attack and make serious decisions such as who lives and who dies. One unusual feature of the game is its relationship tracking - how you interact with other characters leads to relationship scores that affect events in the game.

The personalities of the player characters are also tracked as they make decisions during the course of the game.

The full motion video (FMV) game has a multi-directional story with eight different endings.​​​​ It includes acting performances from Michelle Mylett (Letterkenny, Bad Blood) and Kate Dickie (Game Of Thrones, Star Wars: The Last Jedi).

The Complex is available for PCs, Macs, the Playstation 4, the Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. It costs around US$13 .
