东益电子这季度的收入及净利润分别为8,770万令吉及2360万令吉，分别较截至2017年9月30日止的相应季度的8700万令吉及1,440万令吉增加1％及64％。本季度收入和净利润较高主要是由于：

1）东益电子若干客户的产品装载量较高;
2）更好地利用他们的业务资源和设施;和
3）与截至2017年9月30日止的相应季度的外汇收益RM5万相比，损益表确认的外汇收益增加了42万令吉。

这期内，东益电子录得较高收入及净利润2.457亿令吉及4,810万令吉，而去年同期分别为1.998亿令吉及2,610万令吉（增加23％及分别为84％）。东南亚部门录得销售额较去年同期增加。本期收入和净利润较高主要是由于：

1）东益电子若干客户的装载量增加;
2）更好地利用其业务资源和设施;和
3）在截至2017年9月30日的相应期内，外汇损失为156万令吉，而这期内损益表中确认的外汇收益为26万令吉。

东益电子这季度的收入为8,770万令吉，较上一季度的7,150万令吉增加23％，而东益电子本季度的除税后净利润为2,360万令吉，比上一季度的930万令吉增加高出100％。收入和净利润增加的主要原因是该集团公司某些客户的销量增加以及更好地利用他们的运营资源和设施。

前景：
根据目前客户的预测，自2018年6月以来，随着新产品的成功认证和制造，产量增加并保持强劲。东益电子将继续专注于升级价值链，并继续推进新产品设计及开发的研发计划，与他们的主要客户保持同步。

[GLOBETRONICS TECHNOLOGY BHD: based on the current customers' forecast, volume loadings have improved and remained strong since June 2018 with the successful qualification and manufacturing of new products, the Group will continue to focus on escalating up the value chain and riding on the R&D initiatives in new products design and development with their key customers moving forward]

The Group’s revenue and net profit for the quarter under review was RM87.7 million and RM23.6 million, an increase of 1% and 64% respectively as compared to RM87 million and RM14.4 million in the corresponding quarter ended 30 September 2017. The higher revenue and net profit in the current quarter was mainly due to:

1) Higher volume loadings of products from certain customers in the Group;
2) Better utilisation of their operational resources and facilities; and
3) Higher forex gain of RM0.42 million recognised in the income statement as compared to forex gain of RM0.05 million in the corresponding quarter ended 30 September 2017.

For the period under review, the Group recorded a higher revenue and net profit of RM245.7 million and RM48.1 million as compared to RM199.8 million and RM26.1 million respectively in the corresponding period last year (increase of 23% and 84% respectively). South East Asia segment recorded sales increase as compared to the last corresponding period. The higher revenue and net profit achieved in the current period was mainly due to:

1) The pick up in volume loadings from certain customers in the Group;
2) Better utilisation of their operational resources and facilities; and
3) Forex gain of RM0.26 million recognised in the income statement as compared to forex loss of RM1.56 million in the last corresponding period ended 30 September 2017.

The Group’s revenue for the quarter under review was RM87.7 million, an increase of 23% from the preceding quarter of RM71.5 million while the net profit after tax of the Group for the quarter was RM23.6 million, an increase of more than 100% from the preceding quarter of RM9.3 million. The higher revenue and net profit were mainly due to higher volume loadings from certain customers in the Group as well as better utilisation of their operational resources and facilities.

Prospects:
Based on the current customers' forecast, volume loadings have improved and remained strong since June 2018 with the successful qualification and manufacturing of new products. The Group will continue to focus on escalating up the value chain and riding on the R&D initiatives in new products design and development with their key customers moving forward.
