Good.

Dear Mr. Najib Razak,

I'm doing this on behalf of my family, friends and the rest of the rakyat; all of whom have no other way of voicing out pleas that fall on nothing but deaf ears and stone cold hearts.

Today, you decided on an increase on the price of fuel and cooking oil. Today, you decided on going ahead with your plans of increasing the cost of basic necessities for living. Today, you decided to bring upon suffering to people who are helpless and have nowhere to turn to.

Today, we woke up to news that our income will need to be stretched further when it's already on the verge of snapping. Today, we woke up to news that we may need to eat plain porridge and cheap fried anchovies more often, because we simply cannot afford anything else anymore. Today, we woke up to news that we will be falling sick more often and even risk premature death due to heart attacks and strokes because we will be forced to have less rest and work longer hours to make more money to survive on a day-to-day basis.

It's easy for you to say that this move is for the future benefit of the people. It's easy for you to say that this move is for the future enhancement of living status. It's easy for you to say that this move is for the future progress of the nation.

However, Mr. Prime Minister. However.

You speak from the point of view of someone who doesn't need to starve just so his child could have something to eat. You speak from the point of view of someone who doesn't need to think if he has enough money to go to work the next day, and the days after. You speak from the point of view of someone who doesn't need to worry about paying his backdated monthly bills with money he doesn't even have.

So don't lecture us about how we're being silly or petty about slight changes in price of daily needs. Don't lecture us about how the GST is improving our economy. Don't lecture us about how you're trying hard to bring us to the world stage.

You're privileged enough to be able to wear Armani coats and buy your wife Gucci handbags, and never needing to worry about what you are able to afford to have for dinner. Try being in our shoes for once, and perhaps you might see where we're coming from. Try being human, and understand the pain you're putting us through every day.

Sincerely,
A despondent, powerless young adult struggling to make ends meet

We got to upgrade ourselves and not to think of staying in a low costs of living country forever. How to be competitive in the world market for living in heavy subsidized country? Please make a comparison with Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia la....how much the cooking oil and petrol over there.

Venezuela used to be one of the world best country for living...rich of natural resources, nice beach, beautiful models... It is an oil rich country and the government pampered its people through heavy subsidized ....people become lazy for enjoying a good life. what had happened to the country now? The people are even facing difficulty in getting a roll of toilet paper.

It is good only if this money is use to build Malaysia.
Regret it is not the case. Few top people and Malaysia No.1/2/3 and
all the top people are stealing the hard earn money of the
Malaysian people. Ringgit is falling, share is dead. Investor are
are running away. Look its a doom place to be in????

govt view is always "U DONT LIKE, U GET LOST"

that's why thousands of skilled doctors, engineers, bankers and other professionals migrate from malaysia.

in replacement, thousands of unskilled labourers are brough into malaysia from Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Philipines,....

BN is very happy with the ' professionals' who are not appreciated with the government to get lost. Those 'professionals' are nothing more than wanted to share a bigger pie of the country. they want those listener or uneducated people to stay with them. they want to be the 'elite' in as long as they can. the rest is non of their business.

The problem is in repaying the $55billion loan
Its a gigantic amount...
Guess who is going to pay for that? Definately is not that kangkung fellow..

What to worry for the 55 billion...Malaysia just need to close one eye for what would happen in Nansha Island and lease some deep seaports to China. China wanted to be Taiko in Asia without any dispute from the small countries.

"buy your wife Gucci handbags".
Gucci only cost RM 2,000 - RM 20,000 per handbag. Rosmah doesn't like it, it's Birkin over RM 100,000 per handbag.

All systems in malaysia now are broken.....pity orang kampung....they will never realized these.....

Orang kampung got br1m , they rarely go out to city , no using highway, cooking oil can last for few months, who care. If you earn are according to the standard of brim categories, claim this subsidy.
Now , he bring more investment to Malaysia, this is good job. Work hard, Smart invest and wise spend so that you can Servive. Prepare the inflation coming, this is the trend and you can not change. Look at Middle East, they use to be rich by producing a lot of oil. See their government now what happen?

2016-11-05 09:56

Don't let Malaysia turn into Religious extreme country , then we are no more hope because of all investor will run away. Then, we can really eat grass and need subsidy from government.
We need investor to come and develop the country, this is more important then just subsidy. Be careful of those religious minded and political party.

See recently what just happen to Indonesia, protest in Jakarta. this will really scare the investor. Look at ourselves, bersih and red shirt protest, if any accidentally crash in between, how investor will think?
Luckily, We have good friend China and they really invest to our country, we should be happy and feel lucky.
