BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN : Brunei Darussalam registered one Covid-19 fatality on Wednesday (Dec 7).

Meanwhile, there are two cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.

The Ministry of Health shared the latest updates on the Covid-19 situation in the Sultanate.

A total of 565 cases fully recovered on Wednesday bringing the national tally of recoveries to 258,024. The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine is at 11.3 per cent.

The coverage rate of the Brunei population with three shots of the Covid-19 vaccine also remained at 78.9 per cent.

Some 62.2 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 in Brunei have been administered with the third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while children aged five to 11 who have received two doses remained at 86.9 per cent.
