The Board of Directors of PEB wishes to announce that Petra Energy Development Sdn. Bhd. (“PEDSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PEB on 15 June 2021 received a Letter of Conditional Award Offer from Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (“PETROS”) for the Petroleum Contract relating to Exploration, Development and Production of Petroleum in Block SK433, Onshore Sarawak (“Contract”). PEDSB will be the operator under the Contract for and on behalf of its joint venture partnership, PEDSB-UZMA Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (PEDSB-UZMA).

2. INFORMATION OF PEDSB, UZMA ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. AND PETROS PEDSB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company and is primarily engaged in investment holding, development, production of marginal or small oil and gas fields and provision of operation, maintenance and production enhancement services. PEDSB’s business address is at Suite 13.02, Level 13, Menara OBYU, 4, Jalan PJU 8/8A, Bandar Damansara Perdana, 47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Uzma Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“Uzma Engineering”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uzma Berhad and is primarily engaged in geoscience and petroleum engineering solutions, integrated well solutions, production solutions and other specialised services within the oil and gas industry. Uzma Engineering’s business address is at Uzma Tower, No.2, Jalan PJU 8/8A, Bandar Damansara Perdana, 47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. PETROS, is a Sarawak’s State-owned Oil & Gas Company. An integrated player throughout the oil and natural gas value chain, we are committed to transforming the hydrocarbon resources into energy and progress for Sarawak and Sarawakians. PETROS was incorporated in July 2017 under the Companies Act 2016 and headquartered in Kuching, PETROS’ business address is at Level 6, Block C, ICOM Square, Jalan Pending, 93450 Kuching, Sarawak.

3. SALIENT TERMS OF THE CONTRACT The Contract will be operated by PEDSB as operator of the contract on behalf of the PEDSB-UZMA joint venture partnership. The terms and conditions of the Contract are being finalised. Total duration of the Contract is twenty-nine (29) years. Phase 1 of the Contract is for an initial four (4) years with an option to extend for another year. Upon successful outcome of Phase 1, the subsequent Phase 2 will involve the development and production activities.

4. RATIONALE FOR THE CONTRACT PEDSB is in a good position to undertake the contract, after having had experience in upstream field development and production in the Kapal Banang Meranti Small Fields Risk Service Contract since 2012, and after which, the operations and maintenance of the Banang oilfield, offshore Terengganu, as a continuation of the RSC, under a Technical Services Agreement (TSA) with PETRONAS. The opportunity to explore, produce and develop the onshore block SK433 is a progression and an extension of its activities within the oil and gas industry. In addition, the PEB Group has the right capabilities and partner (UZMA Engineering Sdn. Bhd.), bringing expertise and experience spanning sub-surface know-how, well services capabilities and production optimization. UZMA Engineering also has capabilities in hydrocarbon production having had experience from heavy oil fields in Inner Mongolia and the marginal field operations in the Tanjung Baram SFRSC project.

5. FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of PEB Group. The nature of the contract is based on production of the asset and hence no contract value is determinable. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of PEB Group.

1. The Board of Directors of PEB ("Board") is pleased to announce that Petra Resources Sdn. Bhd. (“PRSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PEB, has been awarded a contract amendment and extension for the Provision of Offshore Maintenance, Construction and Modification (MCM) Services from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (“PCSB”).

2. VALUE AND DURATION OF THE CONTRACT The value of the Contract is based on work orders issued by PCSB throughout the extended contract duration effective from 20 September 2022 until 31 December 2023.

3. RISK FACTORS The risks associated with the Contract are mainly the normal operational and financial risks encountered by PEB. The Company has considered the contractual performance and financial risks and after due analysis, the Company is of the view that the likelihood and impact of these risks are considered manageable and within acceptable level.

4. FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of PEB Group. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of PEB Group for the duration of the Contract.

The Board of Directors of PEB ("Board") is pleased to announce that Petra Energy Development Sdn. Bhd. (“PEDSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PEB, had entered into a Supplementary Agreement with Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) relating to the Production, Operation and Maintenance of the Banang Field Technical Service Agreement (“Contract”) with effect from 29 September 2022 for a period of twenty-two (22) months until 6 August 2024.

2. INFORMATION OF PEDSB AND PETRONAS PEDSB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company and is primarily engaged in activities of investment holding. PEDSB’s business address is at Suite 13.02, Level 13, Menara OBYU, 4, Jalan PJU 8/8A, Bandar Damansara Perdana, 47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. By Section 2 of the Petroleum Development Act 1974, PETRONAS is vested with the entire ownership in, and the exclusive rights, powers, liberties and privileges of exploring, exploiting, winning and obtaining petroleum lying onshore or offshore of Malaysia. PETRONAS' business address is at Tower 1, PETRONAS Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

3. DURATION OF THE CONTRACT The duration of the Contract is for the period of twenty-two (22) months from 29 September 2022 to 6 August 2024.

FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of PEB Group. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of PEB Group for the duration of the Contract.
