How to protect yourself from losing money?

Dear all of you,
My sole purpose for writing this is to warn you that someone is using my name to ask investors to buy shares or deposit money to buy pre initial public offer (IPO) shares which will be listed in the stock market soon. The scammer uses a different telephone number from my telephone number.
Investors will lose all their money if it did not apply to Bursa Malaysia for IPO. Statistics shows that almost all initial public offer (IPO) projections are not achievable. Never take the risk to buy IPO shares.
About 2 years ago, I have reported to the police at Police Station, Jalapang, Ipoh. Recently I also have reported to the Securities Commission.
As soon as you receive an invitation to buy shares from someone using my name, you should write to the Securities Commission whose email address is “aduan@seccom.my.com”.
Please forward this article to all the people you know so that they will not be cheated.

To add on the article, PLYTEC has conducted its IPO and all of its share placements through legitimate means i.e via its investment bankers. Investors should be more careful and not easily believe Whatsapp messages intending to solicit money using PLYTEC's good name.
