Many bloggers in i3 have recommended plantation stocks due to the effect of El Nino where all of them have correctly predicted the increase of palm oil price.
However, I did comment in some of the articles where the increase of price was due to the lower supplies result of El Nino, so overall the income will drop due to less productions from plantation states.
Below are TODAY'S NEWS, Let's see who are correct:

CALVIN IS HERE!
LISTEN!
I still believe that Oil Palm Counters will do very well.
It will unfold like these:
1) Due to El Nino CPO Prices have already surged from Rm1,900 a tonne to over Rm2,500 a tonne
2) As of these early months FFB production have not been good due to El Nino factor. Everything from fruit, vegetable, durian & FFB are all affected. So these quarterly results are still poor as harvest now is meager.
3) As El Nino progressed the Stockpile of CPO has dwindled. So as more and more Stockpile melt away CPO prices will continue to move upward in price.
4) After El Nino will come La Nina with its sweeping rain and world wide flood.
5) Flood is already wiping off soy bean plant in Argentina and cause Soy Oil Stockpile to deplete.
6) The latter months of the year will SEE a surge of CPO Production while Soy Bean will be destroyed by Flood, Tornadoes, typhoons & cyclones.
7) As such With CPO Prices Shooting Past Rm3,000 a tonne coupled with Increasing FFB Harvest ALL OIL PALM COUNTERS WILL SKYROCKET IN PRICES!
8) So this temporal setback presents us A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY TO LOAD UP OIL PALM COUNTERS NOW!
I Am Buying More Palm Oil Stocks & Long CPO Futures.
HIP HIP HOORAY

Correction!
Should read as, "CALVIN IS BULLISH ON OIL PALM STOCKS & CPO FUTURES"

Sincerely thank you for your clarification, Calvin.
In my opinion, there are few factors be taken into consideration:
1. Supply & demand of other substitute vegetable oils such as Soybean oil
2. Crude oil price (bio-diesel development)
3. Weather factors (El Nino & La Nina)
4. Minimum wage rate regime in Malaysia
5. Available work forces
6. Development on other palm oil producing countries
7. Economy conditions of palm oil targeted markets (China & Europe)

Hi Guys,
So NOW YOU MUST LOAD UP ALL PALM OIL STOCKS BECAUSE OF THESE SALIENT FACTORS:
1) MONSTER EL NINO
2) FOLLOWED BY TERRIFYING LA NINA
3) Another Good News is Indonesia HAS BANNED Further Oil Palm Cultivation.
4) And less lands in Malaysia for agriculture as Country is fast converting land to industry due to FDI & TPP
5) The Future of All Oil Palm Stocks in Malaysia IS VERY BRIGHT
NOW YOU MUST BUY THEM WHILE THEY ARE STILL SO CHEAP LIKE BUYING LAFARGE CEMENT AT 66 CENTS!!!
So FIRST THING TOMORROW
SELL ALL OTHER EXPORT STOCKS
AND BUY OIL PALM STOCKS!
