Tony Pua lashes out at opposition after Ismail confirmed for top post

He had previously courted criticism for urging the opposition to consider the offer of a cross-party consensus by Muhyiddin Yassin.
Less than hour after the palace confirmation that Ismail Sabri Yaakob would be sworn in as the ninth prime minister, DAP’s Damansara MP Tony Pua appeared to have launched a scathing attack on fellow opposition leaders over the way they handled the latest political crisis.
Pua, who had already courted criticism for urging the party to accept a list of reforms under the cross-party consensus offered by outgoing prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin, said Pakatan Harapan (PH) had been delivered a double blow by the outcome of the crisis.
“Getting kicked out of government in February 2020 was bad.
“But playing a major starring role in returning power to Umno? Devastating,” he said, referring to PH’s ejection from 22 months of power last year.
The top PH leadership had joined Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and former leader Najib Razak in pressing for the resignation of Muhyiddin.
They also rejected Muhyiddin’s promise to undertake a list of reforms long championed by PH in exchange for their support to prevent the collapse of the Perikatan Nasional government in the midst of the pandemic.
Pua and fellow DAP MP Ong Kian Ming had openly urged party leaders to consider the offer from Muhyiddin, saying it would also prevent the return of “kleptocrats”, a reference to Najib and Zahid, who between them are facing more than 80 corruption charges.

I think PH made the right decision not to support Maihidin for following reasons.
1. You dont work with someone who had betrayed you and caused the downfall of PH government.
2. Maihidin is not a trustworty person. As PM , he can still do wonders and make PH as scapegoat if economy and pandemic still.do not improve from the current mess.
3. There is no point for PH to use its resources to clean up the big mess of PN . If it help to turnaround, PN or Maihidin will claim credit. If it doesnt turnaround , PH will.get the blame. Either way, PH will lose.
Tony is not.a savvy.person.in.terms of politics. Anwar and PH.had better get prepared for GE 15.which is only one year away.

Tony Pua Chu kang pigi studi subject Sejarah dulu. Pigi kaji, sejarah orang yang kerjasama dengan pengkhianat, dapat hasil yang baik kah?
I selalu cakap subject Sejarah amat penting untuk dipelajari oleh semua ahli politik, supaya mereka sedar apa yang dah terjadi dalam Sejarah dijadikan pengajaran. Jangan sampai nasi dah jadi bubur baru sedar dari kesilapan.

No leader is indispensable. Learn from Pak Lah who self sacrifice for own party long term survival, to avoid division. let young dynamic leaders take over. Dumno has young super star player like KJ. what about PKR? what about DAPIG? seems like dinasaur still self preserve own seat. Leader is one who knows when to step down, but his legacy forever recorded in history. That's why i always said Pak Lah is PM I admire most even though he like to zzzz at work sometimes

Behind the scene was Dap leaders consider giving CSA for Mohiden but Anwar Ibrahim took centre stage and mess up the golden opportunity! So yeah, Dap leaders are very angry with Anwar Ibrahim! That's why all in Harapan in favor of post Anwar!
