KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 16): Malaysia’s current account surplus narrowed to RM3 billion (US$675.2 million) in the second quarter of 2024 (2Q2024), from RM16.2 billion in the January-to-March period, central bank and government data showed on Friday.
Portfolio investment saw a net outflow of RM21.7 billion in the April-to-June period, compared to a net outflow of RM23.7 billion in the previous quarter.
