KUALA LUMPUR: The search and rescue operation for the woman who fell into a sinkhole in Jalan Masjid India will continue until the victim is found.

Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman however said the authorities had yet to determine the extent of the search.

"We had a meeting earlier chaired by the Mayor herself (Datuk Seri Maimunah Mohd Sharif).

"We will continue the search and rescue operation until the victim is found. For now, I can confirm this," he said in a press conference here today.
