Important regulations from the Securities Commission of Malaysia we shld all know especially calvintaneng among many here
since there are so many jokers saying that they know regulations of Securities Commission of Malaysia (SCM) when in fact, they know nothing.
i think i shld highlight some of the important regulations for all to determine.
SCM is empowered under the Securities Industry Act 1983 (SIA) among others to regulate and investigate the securities industry.
under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, only licensed persons by SCM are allowed to provide financial services and that includes providing stock recommendations and market outlook. i draw the attention to part 3 section 58 of this act. thus many here who are actively promoting their stocks via starting blogs or agressively promoting the stock without substance are actually in contravation of this section unless they have the relevant license. if there is resulting market impact from such unfounded promotion, SCM may investigate under unusual market activity. and in the worst case scenario, this may result in a criminal case of defamation. so calvintaneng and many here, pls take note of this clause.

lol............
quite a number of penny stocks in klse have questionable financial reports as well.
but we cant blame SCM. SCM acts only when a complaint is filed.

so many penny stocks and untraded stocks in bursa,what sc and bursa should do is,stocks below 10cts should restructure 10 into 1 and those untraded stocks within a month should be facing a suspension.instead of leaving idle on these stocks and keep approving new ipo's.

i think few yrs back ynh is being heavily promoted by many ibs, bro apolloang.
ynh is like ksl and daiman, only built regionally. thats why i dont quite like ynh and similar stocks.
