U.S. stockmarkets trended mixed after both the Dow and S&P 500 marked new territories over the past two trading days amid some minor profit taking activities, coupled with softer WTI crude oil prices. 

FBM KLCI: 1,660.39 pts (+6.42pts, +0.39%)
Tracking the bullish overseas stockmarkets, the FBM KLCI rose towards the 1,660 resistance level. The FBM KLCI's upside is likely to be capped around 1,680.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,222 (+RM34, +1.55%)
Crude palm oil futures recovered after a four-day plunge, trending above the RM2,200 support level amid a soybean rally.

WTI Crude Oil: $44.75 (-$2.05, -4.41%)
WTI crude oil reversed and traded below the US$46 level on the back of an unexpected increase in U.S. fuel inventories, which gasoline supplies rose 1.21 mln barrels last week (data from Energy Information Administration).

Gold: $1,342.64 (+$9.54, +0.72%)
Gold rebounded above the US$1,330 level, recouping some losses after the recent selldown from the US$1,375 level. Upside is likely to be capped around US$1,400.
