This blog provides market updates and trading ideas that I gather from around the web.

Dow Jones: 18,547.30 pts (+17.88pts, +0.10%)
U.S. stockmarkets closed slightly higher on the back of buying support within oil & gas related stocks amid a recovery in crude oil prices, while most of the basic materials and technology shares ended on a positive note.

FBM KLCI: 1,683.07 pts (-8.00pts, -0.47%)
The FBM KLCI may consolidate near the 1,680 level over the near term as selling pressure has pushed the FBM KLCI below the EMA9 level. The FBM KLCI’s upside will be limited to around 1,700.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,578 (+RM35, +1.38%)
Crude palm oil rebounded after the recent profit taking activities near the RM2,600 level on the back of weaker Ringgit. Trading range will be located around RM2,550-RM2,600.

WTI Crude Oil: $48.10 (+$1.05, +2.21%)
Crude oil returned into the positive territory after a one-day pullback, the WTI crude oil may trend gradually higher towards the US$50 level over the near term.

Gold: $1,337.56 (-$1.53, -0.11%)
Gold is trending within its short term correction phase below the US$1,350 level, further support will be located around the US$1,300 level.

Institutions:  Net BUY 11.6 mln (64.5%)
Retail:  Net BUY 19.8 mln (17.1%)
Foreign:  Net SELL 31.4 mln (18.4%)

Target: RM3.06 (4.4%), RM3.21 (9.6%)

Technical: Potential technical rebound
