U.S. equities closed on a negative note led by health-care stocks. The Dow dropped below the EMA20 level and it is likely to consolidate towards the 18,000 level over the near term.

FBM KLCI: 1,682.06 pts (-1.01pts, -0.06%)
The FBM KLCI revisited the support of 1,680 as selling pressure was noted among selected banking heavyweights and plantations stocks. Tracking the negative overnight performance on the Dow, the FBM KLCI may correct further to the 1,660 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,600 (+RM22, +0.85%)
Buying support returned on crude palm oil on the back of the potential stronger demand from China and India. CPO's resistance will be envisaged around the RM2,700 level.

WTI Crude Oil: $46.77 (-$1.33, -2.76%)
Crude oil traded lower as weekly crude oil inventories increased by 2.5 mln barrels last week, according to the data from U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Gold: $1,324.13 (-$13.43, -1.01%)
Gold extended its short term pullback phase below the US$1,350 level ahead of the speech by Janet Yellen in the Jackson Hold meeting this week.
