This blog provides market updates and trading ideas that I gather from around the web.

Dow Jones: 18,491.96 pts (+72.66pts, +0.39%)
U.S. stockmarkets were closed for Labor Day. Meanwhile, Eurozone August Services PMI fell 0.1 to 52.8 and UK August Services PMI jumped to 52.9 vs a reading of 47.4 (seven-year low) in July.

FBM KLCI: 1,678.08 pts (+6.29pts, +0.38%)
The FBM KLCI was lifted higher by bargain hunting activities within the telco heavyweights. However, traded volumes were below the three-month average volumes. Nevertheless, trading focus may extend within the metal-related stocks over the near term.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,644 (+RM49, +1.89%)
Crude palm oil rallied positively above the RM2,600 level on the back of lower CPO inventory. Next resistance will be envisaged around RM2,700.

WTI Crude Oil: $44.44 (+$1.28, +3.01%)
Crude oil continues to rebound higher as traders are focusing on the output freeze talk by the major producers. Crude oil is likely to trade within the range of US$44-US$46 over the near term.

Gold: $1,327.08 (+$1.87, +0.14%)
Gold stayed above the US$1,300 level for the third consecutive days and buying interest may boost gold prices towards the US$1,350 level after a mild consolidation.
