The FBM KLCI took a beating after lingering mostly in the negative territory, dragged down by fresh profit taking activities, coupled with the slump in crude palm oil prices to its lowest level since December 2018. Market breadth remained bearish with 669 losers vs. 225 winners, while 348 stocks flatlined. On the flipside, the REIT sector (+0.1%) outperformed the broader market, led by gains in Al-Aqar Healthcare REIT (+2.0 sen), KLCC (+2.0 sen) and IGB REIT (+1.0 sen).
