The weakness in selected banking heavyweights continues to weigh on the FBM KLCI, which closed in the red amid concerns of lower interest rates. Market breadth, however, was positive as winners beat the losers on a ratio of 452-to-361 stocks. On the gainers' list, semicon-related counters like Pentamaster (+7.0 sen), Inari (+2.0 sen) and MI Technovation (+1.0 sen) closed higher today.
