FBM KLCI: 1,531.22 pts (+12.37pts, +0.81%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.8%) snapped its three-day losing streak to end higher after hovering in the positive territory for the entire trading session, mainly driven by gains in MAYBANK (+11.0 sen) and the glove heavyweights. Market breadth turned positive as the gainers outnumbered the losers by a ratio of nearly 5-to-4. The healthcare sector (+2.3%) was the biggest gainer on the mostly positive broader market as investors piled into recently beaten down glove counters including TOPGLOV (+15.0 sen), HARTA (+21.0 sen), and SUPERMX (+12.0 sen).
