FBM KLCI: 1,583.84 pts (+4.95pts, +0.31%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.3%) registered its fourth day winning streak as the rally in CPO and oil prices bolstered the positive performance on the key index today. Market breadth, however, turned negative as the decliners outmuscled the advancers by 598-to-386 stocks. Nevertheless, the plantation sector (+1.0%) continue to lead the winners list, led by gains from KLK (+22.0 sen), IOICORP (+12.0 sen) and GENP (+11.0 sen) as CPO prices continues to remain upbeat. On the other hand, the technology sector (-2.5%) suffered a setback, mirroring the Nasdaq weakness on last Friday.
