The FBM KLCI (-0.64%) extended its decline for the third straight session amidst weakness in the regional stock markets, as worries mounted over the unresolved Russia-Ukraine conflict as well as the rising Covid-19 cases in China. Market breadth remained negative as the decliners trounced the advancers by 759-to-234 stocks. The broader market ended mostly in red, with the technology sector (-3.47%) leading the losses on the back of selldown in INARI (-13.0 sen), MPI (-132.0 sen), and VITROX (-29.0 sen), followed by the energy sector (-3.26%).
