While Wall Street began the week on a softer note, the FBMKLCI (+0.26) extended its gains, as Banking heavyweights, namely MAYBANK (+10.0 sen) and CIMB (+8.0 sen), boosted sentiment on the local front. Nonetheless, sentiment remained cautious, given the upcoming US Presidential Election and the FOMC meeting this week. The market breadth was positive, with 512 gainers compared to 476 losers. Meanwhile, the ringgit environnment benefited Glove stocks like HARTA (+5.0 sen) and KOSSAN (+5.0 sen), lifting the Healthcare (+0.70%) sector.
