JUST AS JCY & NOTION FOLLOWED THE GREAT SUCCESS OF VSTEC

WE SEE HEXCAP (0035) FOLLOW THE SAME FOOTSTEP OF HEXTECH

HEXTECH WAS IN LOGISTIC. HEXCAP'S SUCCESS WILL BE IN DATA CENTER SUPPORT BY 3 PRONGED BUSINESSES

1) FIBER OPTIC AS ITS MAIN THEME

2) TRANSGRID VENTURES (POWER TRANSMISSION FOR TNB)

3) BINACOM: UNDERGROUND POWER CABLES FOR TNB

1. FIBER OPTICS

ALL DATA CENTERS NEED FIBER OPTIC CABLES

Fiber Optic Applications for Data CentersFiber optics are the undisputed choice for the backbone due to their immense bandwidth capacity and ability to transmit data over long distances with minimal signal loss. This ensures smooth and reliable data flow across the entire data center network infrastructure.

  • Server Interconnections: Servers within the data center communicate with each other extensively. Fiber optic cables are increasingly used for these server-to-server connections, especially for high-performance computing clusters and storage area networks (SANs). This allows for ultra-fast data exchange between servers, supporting demanding applications like cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
  • External Connectivity: Data centers connect to the outside world through internet service providers (ISPs) and other networks. These external connections often rely on fiber optic cables to handle the massive data volumes flowing in and out of the facility. Fiber's ability to handle high bandwidth over long distances makes it ideal for these critical connections.
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC): HPC environments require exceptional data transfer speeds to support complex calculations and simulations. Fiber optic cabling is a cornerstone of HPC networks, enabling the rapid exchange of data between powerful computing nodes.

Servers within the data center communicate with each other extensively. Fiber optic cables are increasingly used for these server-to-server connections, especially for high-performance computing clusters and storage area networks (SANs).

INSIDE DATA CENTER THERE ARE EXTENSIVE USE OF FIBER OPTIC CABLES CONNECTING ALL SERVERS

Data centers connect to the outside world through internet service providers (ISPs) and other networks.

DATA CENTERS CONNECT TO OUTSIDE WORLD AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

ALTHOUGH THERE ARE OVER 10,000 DATA CENTERS ALL OVER THE WORLD WIDE WORLD

THEY ARE CONNECTED BY OPTIC FIBER THAT TRANSMIT DATA  AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT IN JUST ONE OR TWO SECONDS

See the Speed of Light

HOW FAST IS THE SPEED OF LIGHT?

Light travels at a constant, finite speed of 186,000 mi/sec. A traveler, moving at the speed of light, would circum-navigate the equator approximately 7.5 times ...

LISTEN CAREFULLY

AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT A PERSON TRAVELS ROUND THE WORLD 7 OVER TIMES IN JUST ONE SECOND!

ONE SECOND?

YES! THAT IS THE SPEED OF LIGHT OR LIGHTNING!

AND HEXCAP FIBER OPTIC CABLES CAN DO SUCH WONDER

IN MALAYSIA THE MUSHROOMING OF DATA CENTERS WILL NEED LOTS AND LOTS OF FIBER OPTIC CABLES

SO HEXCAP WILL PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN DC (DATA CENTER)

2) POWER TRANSMISSION

HEXCAP HAS JUST ACQUIRED 49% OF TRANSGRID VENTURES

Another key milestone marked in FPE 2023 is the acquisition of 49% equity interest in Transgrid Ventures Sdn. Bhd.

(“Transgrid”) along with the diversifi cation into the power generation and transmission business. This strategy is aimed to

diversify our earnings base, thereby creating additional income stream to generate long term value to our shareholders.

In addition, Transgrid is nearing completion on the construction and commissioning of a renewable energy power plant

in Raub, Pahang that will be capable of generating four (4) megawatts of electricity to Malaysia’s National Grid upon its

commercialisation. As such, we are optimistic about the Group’s growth prospects and outlook, stemming not only from

the immediate benefi ts derived from existing projects but also from the expansion opportunities leveraging on Transgrid’s

current market position in the industry.

With all the abovementioned corporate exercises, the Company has also offi cially changed its name from “Opcom

Holdings Berhad” to Hextar Capital Berhad on 1 December 2023 to have a new corporate identity to better refl ect

the Group’s core business and its future undertakings.

TNB to invest RM90 bil for grid in next six years, says CEO
By       Adam Aziz /

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 29): Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) intends to invest upwards of RM90 billion over the next six years for its grid infrastructure, of which 40% will be channelled towards energy transition-related capital expenditure (capex), said its president and group CEO Datuk Baharin Din.

In his closing remarks at the Energy Transition Conference 2023, Baharin said it is a key priority of the national utility company to “strengthen our Asean interconnection” to facilitate its net zero emissions goal.

“The enthusiasm is tangible [across the region]. Parties are committed to making it happen, as the interconnection will enable better RE ambition, support system security, and open up the gateway to over US$6.3 trillion of new investments by 2050,” he said.

“The timing is right to make the Asean Power Grid a reality, as it is now a matter of our survival,” he added.

TNB, which operates RM62.25 billion worth of regulated transmission and distribution assets in the country as at end-2022, has been closely watched amid rising interest towards RE (renewable energy) capacity installation and the national plan to allow RE exports to neighbouring countries.

Johnny

Rm1.60 is only a guideline
Nothing is set in stone yet

Tnb Rm90 Billions capex for more power transmission and renewable energy plus The Mushrooming Demand by so many New Data Centers ahead will bring Hexcap's earnings into uncharted territory

Never before have such wonderful opportunity come for both power transmission player as well as Fiber Optic demand

Only Hdd/ Ssd demand could excel as they serve Needs of Data Centers and Ai worldwide

Whenever a new trend appears, many companies rush to join in; however, when the trend fades, these companies often decline as well.

One data centre will use minimum 1M litres of water a day and the electricity needed is huge. I hope whoever responsible will ensure sufficient supplies , so as not to cut from other areas and feed them. Thats probably why, some decided to change destination from Spore etc to here, especially water supply.

calvintaneng

Correct!

Yes you guys are right

DATA CENTER only employ 50 to 100 people and does not create much employment

As this is an investment forum we can see these will be in high demand

1) Property Companies that Own Big Plots of Lands can sell lands to DATA CENTER for high profits

2) PALM OIL COMPANIES THAT OWN VAST TRACTS OF LANDS CAN DO THE SAME.
And this was how BPLANT Sold Palm oil lands to YTL Power to be converted into DATA CENTER & SOLAR Farms

Why DATA CENTER & Solar Farms go hand in hand?
Answer:

Because DATA CENTER's HDD consume A Lot of Energy
As such more Solar Farms will be built to power DATA Centers

3. So we will understand why TNB has to allot RM90 Billions Capex for building new Power Plants as well as Renewal Energy like never before

And this HEXCAP's Leadership wisely bought 49% of TRANSGRID VENTURES to Capture this Power Business
