RM221mil / [RM764mil -RM50mil*] = 31%

* RM50mil is gain from disposal of land, it should be tax exempted.


My personal opinion is the RM50mil donation to government has been included in the tax expenses of RM221mil. If I took out the RM50mil from RM221mil, the actual tax expenses is RM171mil.

So, RM171mil / RM714mil = 24% (tally with corporate tax rate)

Hi Mabel, I am not sad for myself, I am sad for the all the Glove supporter, especially the young 1.

For old kaki like you and me, our portfolio are very diversify, we got O&G, Plantation, Healthcare, Steel, Tech...etc. But for those youngster, their capital only can allow them to buy 1-2 counter only.

Especially for those youngster who believe in fundamental investment, they start to lose their believe, their mindset are being shaking by those Tech Supporter, they try to seduce them to cut lose of their good fundamental glove stock, and switch to massive overvalue tech stock with PE 100 times.

I like tech stock, but I only buy them when they are at reasonable PE.
Like last time I bought FPGROUP, KGB, ATAIMS, KOBAY, FPI, D&O, QES ..etc all at dirty cheap price.

I also like glove, but I won't ask you to buy when the price is very high. But now the price is cheap, dirty cheap, and I wont ask you to sell at this pricing. For those who still believe in fundamental, just hold your share, don't affect by other people.

If you really want the short squeeze to succeed, you have to understand a few things:

This is not a one-day battle. Wasting all your bullets tomorrow will not necessarily help. In order for the short squeeze to happen, the increase in share price should happen AND remain at high level for at least a few days (a week or longer at a minimum).

In order for it to work, you need to focus on one stock only. The best idea is to focus on the stock of Top Glove, because the short position on Top Glove's stock is the closest to the regulated short selling maximum limit of 4% imposed by Bursa Malaysia. The current net short position is at 3% of Top Glove's stock, so the short seller has only about 80 million to 85 million more shares they can short sell (this is provided they can find a willing lender of the shares).

The short seller is already experiencing a big loss, because they shorted shares at a very low price. Their current losses are estimated at between RM150 million and RM200 million. Every 1 cent of increase in the share price of Top Glove costs them between RM2 million and RM3 million in extra losses. If the price of Top Glove increases by 1 ringgit tomorrow for example, the short seller will be at RM200 million to RM300 million of extra losses. This is unrealised loss, that is why you need to hold the shares for at least a week until the loss gets realised when the short seller will start buying back the previously shorted shares.

1st, those worker have to pay very high agent fee in order to come to Malaysia to work. This agent fee is not taken or earn by Top Glove, it is something either to bribe the immigration department, human traffic transportation, middle man, local authorities.

2nd, Our glove company never cheat or overpromise the worker that they will work in nice air-conditioner place, live in a comfort hostel or wat. It is the agent who cheat those worker, those agent overpromise to attract those worker to sell land, sell property, borrow loan shark just to come to Malaysia, they though they come here to become a manager, end up become a factory labor.

3）通过出口准证机制对钢铁废料征收15％的出口税；
4）通过有准证的制造仓库和免税区，提供申请免进口税或退税便利设施的选择；
5）严格考虑金属废料回收活动的制造许可证；
6）对于金属废料进口，如今允许从事回收活动的制造准证持有人进口铁、铜和铝的金属废料，而贸易商则不允许进口。

贸工部也在信中说，上述修订将一直持续到今年12月31日。在此之前，任何进一步修订将受限于新工业大蓝图的政策导向。

此前有报道称，LICB正在考虑建造一座高炉，其年产能为300万吨铁水。

业界人士说，当局将对钢铁废料征收15％的出口税，是确保本地钢铁废料不会出口。废料是可以在当地工厂的电炉和高炉中使用的原材料。

“若外国买家积极购买本地废钢，那么美佳钢铁的定价将遇到问题。钢铁订单大多是预购订单。当你锁定订单却无法采购原材料时，将会对价格机制造成破坏。”
