To all Alcomates: There 's one thing that I would like to correct when I show the figures by referring them as ROI. They should more correctly b referred to as div yield or for cap repymnt as cap repmnt yield ( for lack of better terminology) basing on our original pur price.
As I mentooned b4 I m NOT an expert on FA so sometimes in my haste I tend to use the term loosely b4 posting. If it had cause an confusion I sincerely APOLOGISED to all. BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT DIVS N CAP REPAYMNT WAS ALSO FULLY EXPLAINED THAT AN ADJUSTMENT WILL B MADE TO THE SHARE PRICE ON XD DAY ITSELF.
ROI can only b calculated after v have sold our shares. Only then can v determine whether its a realised profit or loss. Other than that its all just paper profit or loss.
Pls check it up if u guys really want to know abt it.

Yes. I don't think it was ever mentioned it was a real return on capital. It was just a capital reduction with NO CHANGES IN SHARE HOLDINGS. Why is it good for shareholders?

If there is no efficient use of retained capital wouldn't it b better for the shareholders to take back part of their capital outlay in the first place? Again the bird in hand attitude. However the way this new management group is handling this is DIFFERENT. They r using bank borrowings for the capital repayment exercise MEANING TO ME ANYWAY THAT THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE KNOWS HOW TO USE CAPITAL EFFICIENTLY by NOT keep asking shareholders to foot out more money through RI, etc......ZERO GEARING DOES NOT MEAN ITS GOOD N NEITHER IS TOO MUCH GEARING. There r also plans to expand the line for stockfin production. TO ME THESE R THE MOST IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES WHEN INVESTING INTO A COMPANY. THEY R THE PROFESSIONALS N KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY R DOING. So I m sure whatever problems that may arise during the course of doing business THESE PEOPLE WILL B ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS.

This is another possible scenario of what is happening. So b careful bro alcomates! I m not saying the QR will b better than the last BUT my blief is that IT WILL B LOOKING AT how the counter has been trading since the APPROVAL BY THE HIGH CAP OF CAP REP.

Negative forces WILL EVENTUALLY B DOMINATED BY THE POSITIVES. So stay positive n let the MARKET DO THE REST. The more they try to suppress the price the GREATER THE EXPLOSION WILL B when NOBODY wants to sell to the short sellers for them to cover up their positions!!!
Bear that in mind all bro ALCOMATES. V shd now target for a EVEN HIGHER TP THAN B4.

YES. choolooi. I do absolutely agree with u. That possibility is very real indeed. The main purpose is to COLLECT THROUGH EMOTIONAL FEAR of people who r weak holders at a great discount. That is also one reason why we as TRUE BLUE INVESTOR should not swayed by these noises IF V HAVE DONE OUR DUE DILIGENCE. That's all this is JUST NOISES N NOTHING ELSE.

Yes I blieve THERE'S ACCUMULATION OF THE SHARES GOING ON! The T+4 traders who bought on the 11/8 will still b selling 2day BUT will b on a smaller scale. I blieve prices will hover between a support level of 1.75 to 1.77 2day. This I reckoned would hopefully b the last day b4 reversal 2morrow. Remember TGIF.
Note: Even though i only mention T+4, it also includes those of T+1, 2 N 3.

14/8... on this day most people tend to stay on the sidelines. Retailers especially the weak holders r already starting to feel the jitters due to the war of words between NK-US. Quite a number of retailers start to take profit but not big sharks as evidenced by the smalller volume transacte
15/8..... T+4 due for those traders who bought on 9 /8. These r mainly sold by the sharks n traders as seen by a bigger volume transacted. I blieve at this time there were also more retail investors n even small number of retail traders who participated. Sharks n retail traders were only able to profit a small amt of profit as the spike was on the 9/8 (cls pri =1.78) as against cls pri on this day (cls pri=1.81).
16/8........ T+4 due for traders bought on 10/8. Prices drop abt 5 sen bcos of traders being flushed out again. The sharks n retail traders n some jittery weak holders sold out.HOWEVER there's a BIG BIG PLUS HERE. More TRUE BLUE INVESTORS R NOW ENTERING THE MARKET AT A GREAT VALUE AS EVIDENCE BY THE STRONG SUPPORT LEVEL AT AROUND 1.75 TO 1.77 YESTERDAY.

To all bros Alcomates: As promised here's my take for the last few trading days. I have plucked out as quickly as I can the datas below. Pls highlight if there r any errors. Vol wise is an approx vol as close as I can extract from the graphs. I blieve that shd b sufficient.

hoping to make a fast buck. However
price cls lower after mid day trapping
those speculators. Some brave hearted
INVESTORS start picking up some great
value shares during this period b4 the
cap rep announcement! FINALLY after
market hrs over announcement made.

YES there is that possibility however REMOTE that possibility might b. B4 I give my take wrt these last few days trade trend I would like to say this:THE ONE N ONLY THING FOR SURE UP TO THIS MOMENT IN TIME IS THAT:
Alcom is STILL IN AN UPTREND MODE IN THE SHORT, MEDIUM N LONG TERM!!!!!!
So IF V BLIEVE THAT THAT'S THE CASE WHATEVER THE REASONS R BEHIND THE CORRECTIONS/CONSOLIDATIONS ACTUALLY R NOT V IMPORTANT EXCEPT MAYB FOR DISCOURSE N EXPERIENCE SAKE BCOS V WOULD ONLY B SPECULATING N NO MORE THAN THAT. SO THE QUESTION IN EVERYONE'S MIND IS THIS. WHAT SHOULD V DO, SELL FIRST N BUY BACK LATER? OR IS IT AN OPPORTUNITY TO ADD TO OUR PORTFOLIO?
