Wow. Plenty of traders burnt badly already!

Seems like consolidation will take a little longer n the maestro is happily collecting from traders. B PATIENT N U WILL GET TO THE DESTINATION U DESIRE EVEN THOUGH THE RIDE IS A LITTLE BUMPY AT THE MOMENT!

Wow. A great battle is going on between the bulls n the bears. Lets see what the outcome is. MY BET IS ON THE SUPERBULLS BCOS THEY R SUPER N NOT JUST ORDINARY BULLS!!!

For sharing with all alcomates. B4 continuing with Part 2, I would like to share some thoughts on the trade trend last friday:
1) Total vol traded has shrunk to about 550k.
2) V V STRONG SUPPORT BETWEEN 1.75 TO
1.77 LEVEL.
3) Cls price at 1.77 which is still 1 sen higher than
thursday's close.
4) The total no and vol of buyers to sellers is abt
47% to 53%, slightly favor to the sellers.
Eventhough tis was the case, there was still a
rise of 1sen at close!!!!
5) Tis is giving the all the indications that the
consolidation which started in late June is abt
to end n the continuation of the UPTREND,
hopefully with breakaway OR A GAP UP MAY
TAKE PLACE V V SOON. I won't b surprise if that
happens 2day. The 9th August is only 2 weeks
away. The window to top up a little bit more is
GETTING NARROWER!

Once those 2 criterias r satisfied The SMART N INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT WILL GUIDE THE COMPANY SUCH THAT THE REST OF THE CRITERIAS LIKE THE FUNDAMENTALS WILL FALL IN LINE WITHIN THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE MARKET!!

Ok. Here goes my part 3. As promised I will try to illustrate why the statement below has NO SIGNIFICANCE (or silly) to being "smart money" people.

I will resummarise HERE IN ORDER OF PRIORITY from my previous threads on what I see as GOOD INVESTMENTS IN ANY STOCKS thus being among the "SMART MONEY" people.
1) Make sure the counter is already showing an UPTREND in the short, medium and long term. WHY???? That's the reason v r investing so that the counter has an opportunity to rise in price, is it not? Sometimes EVEN A COUNTER WITH V STRONG FUNDAMENTALS DOESN'T EVEN RISE AT ALL AS MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SHOWS. The trading trend doesn't lie. All datas r recorded!!
2) Once criteria 1 has been satisfied then v have to do our own homework on the management aspects of the company, the most important being:
i) integrity of the management people
ii) their attitude towards shareholders of the company
Iii) how smart n intelligent the people r in running the company
a) If v have (iii):BUT NOT (i) v r better of to stay away .
b) If v have i) but not ii) n iii) v r still better off than a) above!
Other combinations I would let u guys figure it out. Anyway the BEST COMBINATION would b all of i), ii) n iii) r all positives. THEN V SHOULD HAVE NO REASON WHATSOEVER NOT TO INVEST IN THE COMPANY IF THE PRICE IS STILL AT A PRETTY GOOD N REASONABLE VALUE. NOW IF V R ALREADY INVESTED IN THE COMPANY IT MEANS THAT MORE THAN LIKELY ALL THESE CRITERIAS R SATISFIED SO WHY THE NEED TO KNOW whether weaker or stronger ringgit is good for the company??? Unless the person has never done his homework n is LOOKING TO SPECUILATE????
If v hv verified i) ii) n iii) r all positives it MEANS THAT V SHOULD JUST LET THE COMPANY HANDLE ALL THE micro details of running the company. R V GOING TO B INVOLVED IN RUNNING THE COMPANY?? OF COURSE NOT. If so then GIVE THE MANAGEMENT THE DUE RESPECT THEY DESERVE TO HANDLE THESE MATTERS. THEY R MUCH BETTER EQUIPPED THAN V R SINCE THEY R THE PROFESSIONALS! What can v DO IF A WEAKER RINGGIT IS BAD FOR THE COMPANY??? NOTHING!! DOES THAT MEAN V PULL OUT N SELL CHEAPLY?? OF COURSE NOT IF ALL INDICATORS R STILL POINTING TOWARDS AN UPTREND!!!
"SMART MONEY" PEOPLE HAVE DONE ALL DUE DILIGENCE B4 INVESTING IN THE COMPANY N THEY BASICALLY KNOW WHAT THEY R DOING.

[The_Reds Based on July trend, alcom had a sharp rise on 1st fri and 3rd fri. Tomolo is 4th fri, so I will let u to guess what will happen. By the way if u look at the consolidation pattern between 1st fri to 3rd fri, then compare it with 3rd fri until now, obviously the support level has lifted. Personally I think this is a good sign n true breakout is coming soon]
You do have V GOOD OBSERVATION SKILLS. I m really glad that u were sharing those infos with us all here. Those who have SEEN YOUR THREADS n PUT some thoughts into your comments would I hope hv pick up some stocks at a reasonably GOOD PRICE ........ RITE AT THE SUPPORT LEVEL!!! The_Reds: Tq for highlighting the LBalum case. Md Abd Fahmi: Tq for sharing the chart. From your chart wat it shows to me is a v v bullish chart about to breakaway UP NORTH SÒON!!! Time= your guesss is as good as mine. It is showing the formation of a " triangle" or a "pennant" depending on which of the 2 lower lines drawn that u r looking at. BOTH r also bullish traits!!

To all Alcomates: Here's my take on yesterday's trade. Just got a chance to browse through earlier:
1 After last friday's big burst away , there was heavy profit taking on both Monday n yesterday. The total vol traded on Monday was abt 1.7 mil and yesterday was abt 850k. Therefore total vol traded the last 2 days were abt 2.55mil compared to abt 2.4mil vol traded last friday.
2. However observe the difference between them. Friday's rise was 18 sen as compared to 12 sen drop on Monday n a 3 sen drop yesterday.
3 What that indicates to me is that the support level for the last 2 days has been V V STRONG eventhough the total vol traded in total were more than friday's. On top of that there was an overall upside of 3 sen!!!
4 What that would also translate to is that a lot of "weak holders" n traders has been flushed out the last 2 days. This MAYB a good time to top up A LITTLE BIT on our portfolio BUT PLS TREAD WITH CAUTION as there MAYB still some spillover effect from the "scare tactic" of these traders. What entry price to go in u guys would have to decide.
5 I have always maintain that if the stock is WORTH INVESTING DUN B TURN OFF BY ALL THE NOISES THAT IS TRYING TO DISTRACT US. IT will eventually reached its own equilibrium price in accordance to its worth.
6 GOOD LUCK N HAPPY INVESTING.

Yip2880: First of all congrats for being able to hang onto your stock despite all the NOISES that some scrupulous people hv been trying to feed the forumers during the last couple of weeks! Here's some tips which I hope to share with people in this forum:
1 In share market its NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY U HAVE AS SEED CAPITAL TO INVEST. Its all abt INCREASING YOUR SEED CAPITAL FROM INVESTING and NOT seeing it SHRINK!!!
2 Try not to b too compulsive n thinking of wanting to make a fast buck. NOTHING WRONG with that BUT U NEED TO B REALLY REALLY GOOD IN ORDER TO DO THAT. How many of us r that good??
3 The better option is to find a good stock n invest in it. Let it do the job for us.As I pointed out b4, at the moment, ALCOM MORE THAN FITS that biĺl. When u r in this kind of stock u have to try to let it DO ITS VERY BEST FOR U in terms of ROI.
4 If u still need to speculate u have to b v v good with your OBSERVATIONS N KNOW WHEN TO GET IN N OUT N WHEN TO GET BACK IN. Its a v v difficult SKILL to MASTER.
5 I dun average down when I m in a great stock. I average UP! This has to do with timing n time value of money. Lets just leave it at that.
6 Lets hope ALL of us wiĺl get to the ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE n hopefully the ride will b a smòother one this time around. My take is that even if u were to purchase it at the historical high u will still b fine IF U HAVE THE PATIENCE!!! TODAY WILL B A REALLY GREAT DAY!!!!

I was just pulling your leg abt being evening and all. Nothing wrong being a newbie. Everyone of us was a newbie once. Just pick up as much infos as u can learn along the way. U r smart enough to b able to digest between good infos n bad infos so that itself has won u half the battle. The other half as WB says its all abt TEMPERAMENT NOT INTELLIGENCE. U have that otherwise u would hv sold out by now bcos of all the NOISES that speculators hv been trying to feed people in this forum. Experience come from real life investing n observations!! GOOD OBSERVATION SKILLS r v v important to b successful in the market. Of course reading up on market helps too.
