As I argued earlier either option to retain or dispose the IPP with signed PPA with Tenaga is a big win for Tadmax. Option to sell now is better for Tadmax if the company can invest the cash proceeds in projects that can give good returns. After all the return from IPP now is not as attractive as before. The expected return for such IPP is definitely in the single digit. Since the plant is yet to be constructed, there are risks in construction, technology and operation over the period of 21 years.

Buying Air Asia at current price is like taking one way bet: Most likely than not it will go up rather than down!

Eden will greatly benefit from successful creation of vaccines as it is in hospitality and tourism biz. Travel, tourism and hospitality related biz are experiencing big rally in US now on the latest news of vaccines.

Sooner or later vaccines will be created, it is only a matter of time. Now is the time for the airlines and travel related businesses to rally.

Whether Tadmax continue to own all the shares in the IPP or dispose them now, either option Tadmax will make substantial gains. The question is to take profit now without the construction and operational risks or slowly over 21 years with all the financial , construction and operational risks.

Tadmax will be making good profit up front and have a huge cash pile which can then be reinvested.

With PPA obtained the value of the IPP company will be raised. Tadmax can then sell the company thus booking in very good profit up front now with no construction and operational risks rather than later over 21 years with all the associated risks involved.

The issues and concerns raised byChuckie are valid and relevant to Jaks interest in the Vietnam. We the outside minority share holders should take cognizance of the issues and concerns so raised and discus them among ourselves and question the Board at the forthcoming AGM.

Air Asia at current price level looks like a one way bet!!!!

At this current price, it is hardly risky buying considering the current intrinsic value of Eden, It is only the question of when the price will rise to its fair value and likely it will sooner or later.

If banks are willing to fund Air Asia to the tune of RM 1 billion, it is a show of confident this airline will at least survive if not thrive going forward. It is voting by your pocket or wallet.

Very much undervalued. Net asset per share alone more than 51 sen! Sooner or later it will trade to reflect its fair value.

Eden current biz are hospitality and independent power producers, a hydro plant in Kelantan and a thermal power plant in Sabah. In addition Eden also owns a huge strategic land bank in the right location.Even without considering any future possibilities it is hugely undervalued at current price level. It current net asset per share alone is 81 sen and the whole company is only valued at around Rm 75 millions only.
What more the company has the right connections with the right people !.

Best to buy on the way up, never average down.

Very unlikely Director sold due to margin call but to buy back at the guarantied cheap price of 50.5 sen to make good gain but at expense of other shareholders especially the outside minority shareholders.

Director cum major shareholder keep on selling, the company continues to buy back shares to support the price and then director/major share holder buying back very cheap shares at only 59.5 sen shares. This behavior is not positive for the company at the expense of minority outside shareholders. Sadly no body raise this issue, not even the so called Minority Shareholders Watchdog Group.

Sooner or later airlines like Air Asia will take off. The only uncertainty is when, As I have always mentioned, there is no risk in buying Air Asia, there is only uncertainty. Just need to be patient a little bit to watch it flying again.

Cypark relatively high gearing is not something to worry about as it invests in high Capex projects that will generate steady and robust contracted incomes for 21 years or even longer and the debts are ring-fenced and non recourse. The company core biz are in the green energy and environment related space which are fast growing. The negative cash flow from operation is not an issue as the counter party risk is low and Cypark will get the cash going forward.
What probably kept the price down perhaps due to heavy sell down by the top management and the reissue of very cheap share via ESOS. Otherwise this company is highly undervalued at the current price level.

So sooner or later the pandemic will be under control. For example US pharma giant Eli Lilly antibody drug trials going to Phase 3 trials already.

As I mentioned much earlier people will continue to do air travel and definitely there will be airlines that will cater to this need. Off course there are airlines that may go under due to this pandemic but the strong ones will not only survive but thrive as there would be less competitors. My view is that investing in Air Asia is not risky but full of uncertainty.
One more thing: sooner of later the pandemic will be in controlled.

One main reason why this counter is having a very depressed price due to heavy selling by Tabung Haji. But no worry, this counter will soon find its rightful value going forward.
