Wait for the usual last minute push up for the blip. Can exit at 0.80 instead of 0.79. Get extra sen for the sauce for the lobster tonite. Wait for it. The blip.

If Shell is dying then these smaller boys are dead. Earnings will be slow while debts increasing. Market cap only 1 B at 4.00 so credit lines may be cut if oil rout continues.

Airlines and trains all gone case. HSR is a train of no use. Unless we travel fast just to get quarantine for 7 days each way. That's a very slow infectious train. Warren Buffet said enclosed public transport is dead. He sold his stocks and booked in the losses. People will drive only. Maybe better and more roads. Anyway this counter way too much debt. Over leveraged close to 50 Billion debts in this environment. Wait at 0.60

Is it true a group of shareholders starting to talk to sue Management and Board for the huge gambling hedging losses? Apparently they calculated the losses will exceed RM 2 possibly 3 Billion. If that is correct, then going to Court will open up everything inside out. Govt will avoid controversy and avoid bail out. Why is there no cash left in AA? Selling some today at 0.79
2020-05-05 15:22 | Report Abuse
Negative territory again. If can get 0.79 sell quick. Tomorrow testing downwards 0.75. While slow death we get out before EPF requests for forensic audit on the huge losses from the gambling hedging hidden exposure or losses or EPF sell out like Warren Buffet suddenly and just book in the losses. Rather than lose their pants entirely. No lobster but at least got sup ekor.

Costs are all 100 percent compounded. With the debt and the huge oil hedging losses in Billions. Liabilities also 100 percent compounded. And unfortunately revenue will be just ONE percent of normal. 99 percent of flights gone. 99percent planes grounded. And for those that fly can't even cover that flight cost 99 percent empty and add more costs and compounded interest and liabilities. That's why a brilliant long term investor like Warren Buffet sold ALL his airlines stock at A huge personal loss. Rather than incur more losses. Its called cut losses and run. Airlines are now a death trap. Impossible for social distancing and masks will fall off when asleep.
2020-05-05 09:38 | Report Abuse
Last time they tried these type of rumour mongering to try goreng the price. Failed. Now Everyone knows they have no cash. And no one wants to take placements in airlines Luftansa just announced going to consider cutting 10,000 jobs. Lost 1.3 Billions USD Q1 and said Q2 will be worse. AA Q1 - Q4 billions in losses. Msian govt will not touch. So only way is to cash call. Raise cash by equity. Dilution. Share price will fall. Be patient. Wait for 0.50. If still have some, sell first.

Yes and very strange Big V curve now. No other counter collapse then spurt so fast like this then stop. If institution money EPF bought sure something fishy using Pension money like this. Better sell before SC query.

Looks like AA will collapse. MAS will be fine without the losses of AA added to its balance sheet. This time around AA oil hedge gambling cannot be saved. Like a rogue trader, the losses will not be borne by going into more debt. So raising equity by share issuance will mean severe dilution. More shares making price upside nil. Wait at 0.50 if at all. Until if sudden crash in price, just exit daily at their small last minute up blips to salvage back extra few sen for those who bought above 0.78. For those who bought at 0.52 exit at the first blips
2020-05-04 12:19 | Report Abuse
Warren Buffet is always right, always. He said it will take many many years before the airline industry can turn in a profit. So govts cannot give loan anymore. Airline will just be more leveraged in debt and share price will fall even more. Only means is issue of shares to raise equity to pay the crazy accumulated Billion losses to come from the HUGE OIL TRADING LOSSES from gambling hedging in AA. Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 all gone. Better sell soonest. This crash will be sudden when they suddenly exit. Even Virgin is done. What more AA on so much borrowing and now so much losses. Wait at 0.50 at best.

There is some remaining shares by EPF so EPF needs to be aggressive and demand for a full forensic on the audited accounts for Q1 and the internal projected management account for Q2 to start with. These losses are truly unprecedented so we need to check inside out. If it reveals hidden losses or anything like a fraudulent act, EPF quickly sell and save our pensions. Use the same money to invest our EPF in medical ind like Top Glove far safer and got much better upside. AA punters like myself just got to get our extra two sen and exit on a day like today.

Now they put the blip in the front. Take your time but exit today. Boeing and Airbus both announced that this industry is now graveyard. Dead. Gravest in fact. Both lost more than USD 600 million in Q1 alone and they didn't gamble big on enormous fuel contracts with billions of losses coming. AA Q1 Q2 Q3 all near billion losses because can't run from the projected catastrophic fuel losses. AA is in the Grave. If can get out with your money intact at 0.80 and make some it's an achievement already. Good luck.
2020-04-29 18:54 | Report Abuse
Sold some today when they pushed the blip at at 0.79. Expected closed 0.78. Everyone should be happy with this advice unless buyers stuck above 0.80 still haven't sold or forgot that AA is in deep trouble caused by mis management of Fuel Forward Contracts. They called it wrong big time. Even Singaporean richest man OK Lim also cannot withstand hedging losses bankrupt already what more cash strap AA shareholders sold Caterham F1 before Covid already then no cash.
2020-04-29 18:43 | Report Abuse
AA just announced no cash to take delivery of planes. Thailand and Philippines also just extended lock down of planes from outside. Everyday something bad to solidify no cash no future. At least British Airways is transparent. Latest from the grapevines is AA will now have to do issuance of huge numbers of shares but this cash call will mean dilution. Especially since TF and MK probably dry and not awash with cash just like Branson. QR will need forensic also so as to not hide the huge hedging gambling losses. Big hole for years to come. Every km if AA fly it use fuel bought at prices that bleeds AA dry. Under this type of scenario the govt will not give a loan and definitely no bailout. It really looks like AA is running out of options. One pony trick is to wait till end of day then throw. Intra day if sudden drop can nibble to sell at the ending blip throw. Should make a bit this way unless the forensic shows otherwise.

Much more pain before AA can fly again .. QR will be the worst. So it's running out of cash and pretending by enticing customers to part with cash for bookings and then cancel and no refunds again. Fuel price contract stuck above USD 70 now reality only USD 20 AA will bleed to death mask or no mask. Can't make a single sen profit for next few years. So better don't fly than cut corners in what areas? Maintenance? What else? Big queue now parking to sell at 0.77

Oops suddenly drop back to 0.77. So much effort wasted. Buyers retreating. AA looking weak again. Running out of bullets. Cannot goreng to stay alive anymore? Then will be a scary drop to 0.74 . Like ecoworld drop no warning now 0.40. Anyway long weekend. Eat lobster together like my friends who got out at 0.80 and 0.78. Let them goreng we exit since we bought 0.52. Don't be Greedy. QR may not justify ebitda n PE for 0.60 and coupled with next following QR assuming the losses from fuel will not be even larger, we are looking at range 0.40 to 0.50 for quite some time. Don't listen to crony analysts in their bumi banks. They just want us to buy so they can exit. Look at what JP Morgan and aviation experts are saying about the downhill pressures on airlines and restaurants in the new normal. AA unfortunately is even worse off, because of their gambling. If you gamble and win not too bad. But they gambled and lost everything. AA will be sold at very low bids. Due D will show the inbuilt long term crazy fuel contracts at exorbitant prices. The oil collapse just amplifies the view. Those who cleverly exited yesterday at 0.78 are laughing now. And tomorrow?
2020-04-28 13:56 | Report Abuse
SC should Query why they over bought so high so much Fuel Purchase at so much higher in advance? That's not hedging. And investigate like the Airbus scandal whether the accumulated billions of oil purchases have "offset" or any commission? Payable back to AA or who? Wonder what's the SC doing?
2020-04-28 13:50 | Report Abuse
Terrible it's gone to 0.76 faster than I really thought. AA is not a tenable proposition anymore. Major airlines converting to freight now. Virgin bailout or bankruptcy talks depending how the next few weeks go. Even the Star where AA advertises heavily are saying down hill and too tough. Why all this? Becoz who was too Greedy n gambled in the oil market placing long calls to buy at USD 70 n huge contracts. Now oil collapse to less than USD 20. So its not the covid that's killed AA. Its their egoist I am always right blatant disregard for careful management. They were not hedging. Overzealous risk taking is gambling with company's money. SC should start the query and investigation. Why and how he "hedged" high.. Even if you hear their created rumours that a China or Europe fund is thinking of buying they will just be vultures. Last minute when almost dead is the cheapest. No one is going to give more. Sell before it breaks the floor 0.70 on the way down fast today.

Last stock market crash we saw all these flat liners for hours and last seconds try to mislead by pushing up a bit. Dont get con. At the end their bullets finish and AA goes crashing. Sure confirms everyone's calc that AA is a goner. For those who managed to exit at 0.78 well done. Especially those who bought at 0.52. Tmrw we continue selling first thing before the support is lowered to 0.70. Tonite enjoy your lobster.

Not awash with cash. No choice but to pawn small home island worth maybe less than £50 million net of debt and borrowing. Not going to help much. Sustained losses will be close to £ 1 Billion. Just delaying the inevitable.

Even Airbus just announced bleeding to death. Such a giant also going under. Social distancing is the opposite of bringing people together. Even South Africa economy stronger but requested IMF loan for standby guarantee. Msia will keep that option open since oil prices set to remain low for foreseeable future. So we will not disqualify ourself by giving private individuals business bailouts if we hope to keep the IMF, World Bank, ADB or even Bank of Japan card alive. If anything we will standby to help Petronas with Kimanis shut down. Not AA. Only 11am it's already turning negative territory. Sell.
2020-04-27 10:21 | Report Abuse
Already morning cannot even inch up. After lunch below 0.75 first plateau down then 0.70. TF will not subscribe rights becoz he knows AA is doomed. Can't move forward with Huge losses coming. Failed becoz Billions gambled and Lost on Fuel Price hedge stuck at USD 70. Prices of oil stuck at USD 20 as advised by JP Morgan n Goldman Sachs. That's why Richard Branson even gone. Msia needs to conserve cash. No bailout. No loan. NO cash even to refund passengers for PR. So there is no upside for AA. Sell.
2020-04-26 18:33 | Report Abuse
Branson already see the future. There is no future for airlines. Its like the beginning of small pox centuries ago. No cure for a long time. The future is Zoom and technologies that will avoid human interaction. That's impossible for airlines. Even the stewardess can kill you with covid. Game over. That's why Branson is quitting. So at least the low on cash Malaysian govt has no basis or any justification to waste even one million for any loan to AA. Better sell all AA and buy Zoom. Tomorrow will drop to next step down 0.65

Additional news. Luftansa now just became another casualty after South African Airlines. Its clear travel and tourism is dead even after MCO. Covid 19 20 21 will make travel lowest priority.
