Being rich or poor, everyone has the freedom to live the way he/she wants to. As long as you don't hurt or affect people around you. Simple as that.

Born in 1988... actually you are still considered very young and not too far behind those 90s. Yet you already sound like having been around for ages... great!

"divedend for what ? nothing use , diveded pay , price adjusted , for what , stupid investor only interested. any company also can pay dividen"

Dear Kai89, investors looking for dividend play company are not stupid, pls dont easily say that. The meaning behind dividend payment by a company is far more than what you claimed here.

The problem is, many retail investors have no confident to identify which stock can actually bring huge profit/loss. That is probably the reason why they perform diversification.

Not surprise at all. This is what we are going to see if retail investors still can't process or evaluate what they read from internet(blog). If a famous blogger talk well about a stock today, very likely you will see its price skyrocket tomolo, and vice versa.

Very convincing. Thanks the author. What I can say is that the current Hevea share price is not undervalued, but still very much undemanding.

Historically and also currently very stable in earning and free cash flow, plus decent dividend payout. Worth keeping the stock, at least.

Yes, patience is very important, but it must be used in the correct way. Holding a mediocre stock patiently will either waste your time or bring you to Holland. It must work together with proper analysis (be it FA or TA).

Knowing when to buy is not good enough....a complete investor must also know when to sell and never ever think of selling at the highest point all the time.Develop your own strategy and exit accordingly....it is all about being discipline.

That is the most direct approach... but the problem is, all investors rush into the market buying a particular stock after seeing good quarterly result. At such, what kind of good price and how many lots still can you get? You have to compete with others for that stock and that is why the price will be getting higher and higher.

Every investment tool serves its own purpose, strength, and of course, risk.
When you don't know what you are going to do with your money in short term and are still pondering,or waiting for other investment opportunities, yes, it is Ok to put your money at FD. At least still get 3% and liquidity. Remember, letting time go without doing anything is a crime. Time itself is gold, money!

By my observation, the truth is that most of the youngsters nowadays are fond of 3 things: vacations, ICT products, and nice food. Anyway, it is nothing wrong to enjoy life. But it must not be over your capability and limit.

The problem is, how many of us can be so sure like him that a company will make more money than before? If everyone can foresee the future with 100 percent accuracy, I really believe there will be no poor man in the world.

A lot of investing experts share their knowledge in i3investor regularly. Sometimes I think such knowledge is too much that it has become a 'noise' to other investors, especially the novice.

Nice. Deploy 5-3-2 or 4-5-1 when market is hitting new high, and switch to 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 during the all time low. Changed your tactics according to company prospect, market condition, macro economy outlook and personal risk appetite.

Less spending on ICT? I doubt. Just look at how our adorable Malaysian queuing up at the mall before sunshine for the so called latest smartphone. ICT are already indispensable to people's life and business.

Thank you Ali, I did benefit from your posting(though I hate to admit). But still I thought it is a right decision, at least it is going to be fare to everyone (including Mr.Cold Eye). Grow up and be a master of your own.

Maybe about 20% of the portfolio on this kind of "bad company". At the end, it is all down to your risk appetite and hard work, nothing is guaranteed.

Cant'agree more... but it is the old story and nothing special. I think most people are aware but just can't avoid doing so--because those diseases are the consequences of human being's natural instincts--greed and fear.

Every time when the latest portfolio of master cold eye is released(especially those newly-owned stocks), you may notice that those stocks will begin to rally or surge suddenly.Very obvious that it is due to the following act by retail investors. Anyway, there is nothing wrong following his investment strategy to me... But before doing this, my advise is to try studying their background first and justify their investment value by your own... at least try to understand why they catch Mr. Cold Eye's attention.

As my humble opinion, point 2 is actually related to point 1. An active investor is unnecessarily equivalent to someone who pours all or a large portion of his capital into the stock market. When market is doing well, of course everyone can sleep like a baby. Nevertheless during major market crash, a true value investor can still sleep peacefully, and to certain extent, happily--knowing that there are sufficient bullets(capital) for bargain hunting.

Investors who follow master Leng Yan know that GTRONIC is one of his hot favorites. Yet he does not hesitate to sell it all during this time when things are looking great at the company currently, as well as its future. Is it another typical example of being 'fearful when everybody is greedy' or a premature move? Only time will tell.
