If 2024 is really turn out to be a bull market, perhaps buying WC is a good option. Risky , for sure if it turns out to be another uneventful year. WC will then perhaps suffer same fate as WB.

Very timely advise from dragon328 and others, the risk is a lot higher now if you want to do swing trade. However if you are looking at long term then it is a totally different thing.
The foreign funds came in a big way say at RM2.80 and now its 35% up in such a short time. Perhaps they want to take some profits now?? who knows.

@OTB, Looking at the market momentum RM4.20 in 2024 is a piece of cake. [Based on EPS of 42 sen only PE 10 ]
Do not discount a PE of 15 giving a TP of RM6.30. [ KLCI average PE is 15 ].
That also ignore the hugh potential that the AI deal will bring.

The CEO Lim Chern Yuan made the following comment in “ the edge” article 4 months ago :--
“We have never been in such a good position to negotiate contracts, with our order book, we are looking at closer to a billion dollars of Ebitda by 2025, 2026.”

With that kind of statement, you can be rest assured that he knows what he is talking about and we just need to be patient and wait another two qtr results to see the price performance. One needs patience to win ? no?

What will drive Yinson stock price? All IBs covering the stock recommended a buy and yet listless after good qtr result. Are foreign institutional investors shying away from oil related stock?
Perhaps need to wait for 2 more quarters results before potential investors /traders are convinced that Yinson can consistently deliver good results?

That should price YTLP at least RM3.35 ? no?

QTR 31.10.2023 results due out by end of the month. Looks like it will still meet expectation, but the share price is still listless. Disappointing indeed.

The IBs will probably revise their TP upwards on Monday.

If Yinson is going to be flat in 2024 as well then the mother share would be a better choice?

EPF seems to be collecting at current prices. hope this continue till year end.

Is YTLP technical uptrend still intact ? Just normal correction before the next push? Qtr result going to be shitty?
Perhaps time to pick up if you missed the earlier round ?

When price has moved from 70 sen to RM2.35 now, one need to be super careful. If YTLP can maintain the kind of profit achieved in the last qtr, there is always room to move up further. Qtr result to 30.9.2023 should be the key. If PAT drop to say RM500M, which was QTR 31.3.2023 figure, will current price hold ???

After EPF ceased to be a substantial shareholder of YTLpower, it started to head north beautifully. Perhaps it is Sunway's turn now.

We all can see that the price of YTL power has gone up from 65 sen to RM2.29 in a space of 12 months. The chart specialists are super bullish. It may hit RM2.90 soon and even RM4 in 2024. Perhaps it is not wrong to question if YTL power has the fundamentals to hit RM4 or even RM2.90 ?
of course I would be happy if it goes up to RM4 as I am stlll holding it.

Perhaps more accurately put is the variable cost.

Timely recommendation from OTB at current level. At least people cannot accuse him of pump and dump. His cost would probably be around RM2.45 ? so if you trust his stock pick, buy now and don't wait till RM3.5 and later blame him for sending you to Holland.

EPF is holding around 450M shares. No reason for EPF to dump to hurt its own pocket. The are probably "trading" or just reduce their holdings to sell at a certain price. Yinson chart may look like shit now, but the bottom is not far away. no?
