A high speed successful exponential rise turned into an endless -ve parabolic trajectory.

This forum is getting very noisy.
Seeing lots of not so Rich people 'squating n camping' here.
Is there another Best forum to go to ? Please, can somebody reply ?

The EPF in-house fund managers usually will buy blocks by private placement with a slight mkt discount. They might trade a bit with the view to create values over time. This way they will never miss the next greatest winning stocks. They will even hold long term till the biz fail.

Ex. EPF is the last 'mohigan' still stuck in KNM. That's why EPF is the seller every week in KNM. They tried very hard to be out/naked of knm. Being deep into penny status, really doubt any funds will ever buy into knm again. The free float in this stock is probably the highest of all. It is quite impossible to create higher stock price now because its shareholder structure is completely destroyed forever.

Stocks need to be 'corner' to go bull run...

Everybody is born a millionaire.

There r 2 EPF fund managers, the original in-house n the 'monkey' outsource managers.
Some 15 years ago, the longest serving Fin minister outsourced RM$20-25 billion to abt 20 'monkey' fun managers.
EPF board has a list of core holding stocks. So everyday these monkeys will play a fool with those stocks to 'milk' your money n mine too. Every single day some 5-6 monkeys will sell some of those stocks n some 3-4 other monkeys will buy. This is a classical stock manipulation with vol under same name without change of ownership. But they r licensed to do so. These monkeys will micro trade with the pretext to make money for us. No wonder we always hear many season senior players complaining that this mkt now is so slow compares to 15 years ago. If the mkt turns purebear like now, these monkeys will be net seller everyday.
KLSE was reputed for being very 'fertile' capable of commanding PE of 18-20 or more. These prospects r all gone forever to neighbors in Jakarta n Philippines.

KC, It is just old normal to have made wrong bets.
According to teachings of stock expert Bernard Baruch, adviser to 3 US presidents :

" If a speculator is correct half of the time, he is hitting a good average. Even being right 3 or 4 times out of 10 should yield a person a fortune if he has the sense to cut his losses quickly on the ventures where he is wrong ".

Doing the math, that means we r into a biz of cutting losses, 5 to 7 times out of 10 stocks.

n in a down trend, 1st loss is the Best loss !

WHY ? all the good brains in the forum r focusing on this stock that is not going to create much value in the interim period.
There r new n happening stocks to enrich ourselves every cycle, right ?


Since last above post, Amazed to still see so big crowd 'squatting' in this stock waiting for 'durian runtuh'.
Might have to consult the charts for the next trend reversal.

Clear n simple 1st way : If the daily macd is above 0 axis = good chance the trend is up again...

For this to happen, money must flow in consistently at least 3-4 weeks. This will mean smart money has to cast a net at a certain level n accumulate continuously. When smart money has eaten/taken up too much, the risk goes back to them n they have no choice but to push up n up.

There r 2 types of bull run.
a. This way is from the low/bottom up = high risk.
Happens to Genting too.
b. I prefer bull run from new recent highs.
Here I will identify the last small purebear = handle that will pivot to the biggest purebull.
This is gap up strategy for big fast money.
Risk is if the price slide back to the floor price = failure swing = RAN for life.

Risk mgmt: I suggest go into mkt 'naked'. Just wear trunk or g-string only to be lightest n wear spike shoes. This way u r sure to ran fastest.
