Yes PP is favoured route as it is quick and requirements are easier and with discount easier to get investors ...however questionable in terms of treating all shareholders fairly....I think the intention of PP subscribers need to medium time rather than get a quick return which can impact the share price. The west particularly the US pumps in trillions into the economy by printing money ...they can afore to that as credit agencies who mark sovereign debt are owned by them ....credit rating no matter remains solid...for that reason...som elf this money filters to emerged and emerging markets...the benefit will be felt.

Evidence is suggesting there is massive pent up demand for luxuries as well as activities such as gambling casinos, travel. In modern times the world has nit seen anything like this people are realising the need to enjoy and live the life .....so I see underestimation of pent up demand that will drive the entertainment travel industries ....we will see massive uptrend ...overshoot. Worldwide banks stocks have made significant recoveries despite rising bad debts.....the reason is that they had gone down a lot and now are seen as recovery stock with worst over. Chee Kay...market is forward looking and no doubt CIMB will come back stronger than any other bank in Malaysia...during 2021, they will outperform other banks due to release of management layers of additional bad provisions....possibly the strongest recovering quarter would be 2nd quarter onwards. Price could overshoot to 6+ it is a strong possibility. Also govt institutions will pile in.

DannyArcher....sure there is that risk, given their balance sheet and funding required for additional contracts they will get during the course of 2021...if they do require funding I would prefer rights issue....as this would give equal opportunity to all shareholders as opposed to some. Perhaps their is an expectation to get funding.

Yinson is doing the right thing getting into renewable energy whilst still bidding for traditional OG contracts ...big order book and this year get another one in Brazil. All these are relatively long term contracts. Yinson is a leading company in its field with no hanky pankh director / owners constantly dealing in its own shares.

Low volume is creating volatility .....epf keeps disposing as it has obligations to realise assets to support additional payment brought about as a result of CV. That said I expect investment coming back into Hinson before annual results...retail investors need to wait ...this is unlike Serba which had 2 PP ..which is being u wound ...by those who got PP. making a healthy return on discounted price.

Two PP in one calendar year ....is a shocker in investment world particularly as the business is doing ok and was not needed to acquire new project ...thats is why my preference is Rights Issue, fair to all shareholders ...unless you don’t take up the rights! Some buffoons in this forum don’t understand it. Companies prefer PP because it is easier to undertake and Lee’s regulatory requirement also we don’t know who the PP beneficiaries are...and what their reason is for acquiring ...short term or long term....as it comes with heavy discount to selected few. The price will only go up when the selling I suspect from PP holders has run its course. When this happens their may be another PP! I have already made over 50% in weeks investing in Genting and Dayang for example compared to waiting and waiting here!

I did NOT SAY THAT COMPANIES IN MALAYSIA SET A HIGHER price FOR PP.
