With the shorties in full control anything can happen. But hopefully they are now convinced that this coming wave will be even greater in magnitude than the previous waves, The tell-tale signs are slowly but surely confirming it. Once they are truly convinced, then they will need to quickly cover their short positions fast, before the tell-tale signs become full fledge evidence.

I think maybe the shorties realised they need to quickly cover their shorts before too late. Likely retailers are holding back and not selling cheap to them anymore. With the global situation deteriorating fast due to Delta and Lambda, time is running of for them. Maybe they sense that this coming wave will be different, likely to be much worse than the previous waves.

Looks this coming wave, we will be seeing new types of Covid victims such as children and young ppl not just old and at same time, many Asian and African countries, Australia , South America, East Europe and Russia that were relatively unscathed in precious waves will now be seeing huge surge in daily cases, and hospitalization and death, mimicking what happened in India. Just look at what's happening in Indonesia. Previous wave of earlier variant didnt take off, but now they are in big trouble. And Malaysia too after 1 month of FMCO, we are witnessing increased daily cases more than before FMCO. This wave is definitely going to be real nasty and terrifying. This will be on top of the new wave that will also hit US.UK and EU in the coming winter. Likely majority of countries around the world may be hit all at once simultaneously. I worry the death numbers will be multiple that of previous waves. This is going to be catastrophic as 80% of the world population are still unvaccinated. Gloves demand will be unprecedented in the coming months likely even more than previous waves, since a wider demographic of population around the world will be infected with serious symptoms.

@Dannyfyl88 Tonee... Let's see this uptick leading to the QTR. Looking at the last 2 QTRs... the upticks are similar. Like I said, sentiment is not forever. With Covid is rising, lockdowns affect all other businesses more than gloves and the current low gloves price, most IBs see this attractive to buy than to short. Only some dogs here still barking/playing the broken records over and over again to talk dead the price.

Agree Danny, I saw 3.0 this round as the bottom price. However, we don't want to be over optimistic to avoid a bull trap on those who can ill afford to get further trapped. For long term players, continue to nibble since u all can hold for the long haul. Sure at this price is cheap, there's no doubt and I m waiting for the 6 events I outlined to happen by the next QR.

In a weakened economy where many biz are affected, we may need to be more realistic. But the least retailers can do is hold for fair value, at least 5.0 and above. Meanwhile wait for the 6 points events which I outlined earlier to happen.

Danny, keep in mind the shorties can move the price at their whims and fancies. Unless, FF enters or Stanley SBB, they can reverse the gear anytime. Therefore, practice caution and don't chase high. Also hold and only sell >5.0 to short squeeze the shorties as the sentiment turn positive for the glove counters.

MM, u promised me for 1 whole month can get at 3.0 and below. I got fed up, so I bought slightly higher. For long term player what is 5-10sen? Of course I would hv bought more if touched 3.0. Anyhow, I keep enough bullets if it drops back.

It will be scary the coming wave. Previously, with lockdowns and restrictions cases will go down. But with these Delta and Lambda variants, cases shoot further up some more. This shows how much Covid has developed to become super virus due to vaccination. And its still mutating to become even stronger. Pray for God's mercy on mankind. Current vaccines are now just barely holding up. Booster jabs will be needed sooner than later.
