EPF remains the seller of Takaful even though PER dropped until 9.1x with DY 4.75%. You don't really know the yardstick used by EPF to gauge a stock.

If a 2nd liner counter posting 9 consecutive of better QR profit, it's almost ridiculous to expect its PER drop below 15x. But Takaful is special and exceptional.

Investment in long term is seen as nonsense in Bursa. Takaful has been posted better QR for the 9 consecutive quarters and yet facing the same fate of dumping due to various 'potentia'l resons haunting its profitability. It's worst than other 2nd lines. Hardly see 2nd liners share performing like Takaful. EPF has changed the role from share stabilizer to manipulator after giving its proxies to manage the portfolio.
