Back then I was so naive in believing SC and Brusa will protect minority shareholders interest and go after the Xingquan BOD. Now I learnt for i3 to lari kuat kuat when I sense the first sign/red flag of fraud.

Putting policeman also can't stop Bursa and SC from reprimanding them and telling them to get out. Yet again, independent Directors just not knowing their role as defender of the minority shareholders. They are lucky to get out if they are complicit with the management can be charged for criminal offences.

Yes, false accounting is everywhere but when you are an investor, you must beware. China-based companies in Bursa are prime examples, where that can even create false audited cash at banks. Based on sky-high NTA due to apparent swollen bank accounts, people got conned to buy the share at a cheap price. Thereafter the factory started to burn and directors were nowhere to be seen. If I am a banker, I would approve a loan plus a personal guarantee of a director cum major shareholder, even though it is a public listed company. This is what China regulators would do to China property billionaires whose companies are in debt.

Maybe true approve loan due to past audit account but major bank need the LOA to confirm. But our project Loan need LOA.

Someone from bank need to verify this.

If you are saying bank base on audited account. Then who did the audited account previously? Should that party be held responsible?

Due diligence is not 100% proven that there is no book cooking. In this case, most banks had relied on the past audited accounts to approve loans, if past audited accounts were cooked then they were relying on false info to approve the loans.

Maybe you go and try to borrow from the bank if you think is easy. A small amount may be easy when comes to hundreds of millions. Not one person's decision. Due diligence must be in place. I am not promoting but there is the thing we need to consider rather than believing just from one source.

That's is what I have been saying each country is not perfect. But each country can try to put all the negativity behind them, but unfortunately, most are unlikely to be resolved and the worst is when many countries move backwards. So no point in defending only one country.
