Heh, my remaining 92.3k TSH units @ avg 1.065 is still a test of patience for me. Thanks for the article, buddy

I honestly don’t understand why Calvin just keeps doing this. I mean, price gone up a bit already. Why keep doing this promotions?
No, wait, I know why. And you Calvin keep mentioning religious Christianity things here. Don’t you know, in your ripe age, that you are alienating those multi-race decent folks here you are obviously trying to target? Jesus. No apologies ever for mentioning Jesus
This world is real

Enough lah arguing. And you’ll always see rr67 boasting. He is a trader pure and simple. It’s almost certain he never picks up shares on any counters. There is a reason. Try guess why
Rr67 is the only person I truly despise in i3. He tricked folks in Prlexus. “Buy lar, easy money” he said. Then he posted he sold. That’s ok. But he posted laughing at those that held. Despicable

To the bosses of HY : You know why EPF did it recently. But that’s besides the point
Improve your fundamentals. It’s terrible

Right now, I’m in a bit of a mixed state of mind. After buying TSH with average price of 1.065 and then selling majority of my holdings at 1.09 and 1.13 some time back, my freezer has exactly 92.3k units that I really hope won’t get rotten. Honestly, not sure what to do. I think I need to work hard on the computer this weekend
To TSH shareholders, TGIF eh?

Skoh, nah, no takeover. Boss Jackie over there told me they’re looking at expanding their Viet biz

Skoh, I remember you posted here you queued to buy YBS at 0.505 when I gave the hint here back in June (along with Dialog). Did you get YBS back then? What about Dialog?

If you guys search thru my posts here, you might have gotten my hint about a related counter that is ripe for a takeover/MGO
I believe I mentioned here (and over at that counter’s thread) I bought a few times, nibbling away. My average price is 1.23
As it is, I’m making a tiny profit on my remaining TSH shares locked up in my old freezeroo… I’ll just monitor

Okok lor… picked up 2 counters past 3 weeks. Not really spending too much time in stocks. Very uncertain times…

Just don’t get too hung up with what folks say here. Focus on what you’re really doing instead of why you’re here in i3
You know why i3 can be “addictive”…

2022-08-04 18:11 | Report Abuse
Well Sting, at least you have the experience. But I hope you know you why it’s lime this in the stock market
I already said in the HY thread why it shot up and went down
I posted above about Michael having “business”… not too sure if you missed my short comment. Read it again. Carefully

This Calvin ah… sigh…
What he’s doing is maths ie. his daily promotional messages.
It’s just a bit like you guys investing and trading stocks
Multiplication is repetition of adding (Calvin’s repeated promotions)
Division is repetition of substraction (investors/traders repeated profit taking)
That’s how the investors and traders work
So… what would happen if TSH’s stock price is multiplied as well as divided?
What would happen if ANY stock price is divided by ZERO?

Well, I rarely walk with wise men but there’s one bloody rich dude who co-founded a PLC and still is one of its Top5 shareholders and his office room is just a few steps from mine. No need to walk with them. Just listening is enough

Vtrade, I never bought this counter. I saja sini coz yesterday’s LU reminded me of what I cautioned within the past year in a Telegram groupchat that I’m in
This was a PN8 company (status since lifted) with no revenue and was sitting on RM10M cash. Ever since the young guy came into the picture (as well as being appointed as director in a few other companies roughly around the same time), I knew something is not right. His daddy is the main story…

Quite a while back I said I view plantation companies as real estate companies. They’re like several companies doing various things, like manufacturing or tech or whatever, ie. their “core business”
But many of them are liked by investors not for their “core business” but for what they really own ie. things that humans rarely make anymore. What is that?

Aiyo, JJ… I already mentioned mah… go research lah TSH’s IPO Prospectus all the way back then. They already got big borrowings then lah. Cmon man, are you serious?
Look at Unitrade. IPO recently. Half a billion borrowings. Not good leverage. Share price reflects that

Haha this Mike must be interested in dating me since he research my posts
Hey Mikey, instead of only highlighting what you chose to highlight, why not highlight the other things I posted in the Hengyuan thread? Retail shareholders won’t/don’t like my FA on Hengyuan. Bcoz what I said about Ah Heng is absolutely true based solely on numbers and also the fact that EPF holds just 2% *purposely*
Try and look at the broader picture
I think you’d probably a really swell person if we ever meet. It’s all this hiding behind a screen that’s the disease here and many other worldwide forums
2022-08-02 17:22 | Report Abuse
JJ, it’s called “leverage”. If a company has equity that is more than liability, then they can carefully afford to borrow more based on their corporate exercises. Banks always consider this. I mentioned TSH’s Sukuk already
So, check TSH’s equity vs its liabilities. Check its NTA vs its liabilities as well
All smart companies should keep whatever cash they have for business. They need to leverage cash versus borrowings. They watch BNM
Are you any clearer now?

Calvin is nuts. I already said before. Yeah. “Clear all debt” is beyond ludicrous.
All professionals in any company, private or tradeable, wisely choose to borrow. Cash in hand must be held for future acquisitions
You just set up companies to acquire due to tax reasons
2022-08-01 19:41 | Report Abuse
JJ, I already answered your question. That 1B debt didn’t “start” but accumulated based on agreeable funding. What do you mean what is the original purpose?! You’re gonna have to spend time researching TSH’s IPO prospectus way back then if you’re all that worried about TSH’s financial health (which I’m absolutely not worried about)
Tired. Mau makan mau tidur mau mimpi. Nite
2022-08-01 17:45 | Report Abuse
Regarding TSH’s debt (which is unlike the big GLC boys) :
1) TSH had and will continue to borrow to buy any future plantation landbanking. Borrowing is a logical necessity and not only for tax purposes
2) There is considerable expenses related to replacing old fixed assets all the way back from the time TSH started. They can be many tens of millions every single year. TSH’s overall borrowings include such an expense item
3) TSH has been afforded, and took advantage of, extremely good Sukuk ratings. Such Sukuk provides funding, which banks looks at favourably
In short, TSH is able to borrow a lot due to its Sukuk. Banks are comfortable with it, so the banks lend to TSH due almost certainly to the Sukuk. TSH still has considerable cash. They likely/presumably will keep that cash for acquisitions. Dividends is just a $mall concern. MGO for a related company may also be in their thinking

Surprising that bro probability highlighted VLO above
I remember I mentioned here before that I had made substantial time-determined repetitive call options buy (never exercised, just trades) on VLO about 6 years ago (or was it 7?)
Now look at Pg23 of VLO’s latest QR. Compare it Hengyuan

Yeah man, Bull. Just treat i3 as entertainment. Coz everyone hiding behind computer screens lor
On 16 June, I posted in the LGMS thread that the company has no tangible assets and ripe for sharks and operators. I bet a lotta folks got trapped there today. Probably trapped big time
I posted here quite awhile ago via hints about YBS, Dialog, Annum, Ages, Ptrans. I posted a hint bout Genetec in the TG thread (this is where I have a lil doubt about Sting but I give him benefit of the doubt)
All went up considerably after my hints
I read Sting and Mike’s challenge to each other and I just laughed. So many posts daring each other first to mention their stock picks. It’s fun to read but at the same time interesting as well!
Finally, I will never buy the counters mentioned by either Sting and Mike. Not fundamentally, not technically, nada. We’re talking about 1 year’s time as their challenge said. No.
Sometimes I have trouble tracking all my emails with the bosses and CFOs of various PLCs for my main source of income (NOT investing/trading). I read into their replies (for those that reply). I also think about why they don’t reply to my emails. I also manage to speak with some of them when they happen to be in their office
The above can be verified in a Telegram groupchat where I provide updates, secure in the knowledge that whatever sentitive info I share there will be treated discreetly by its participants
That is important to me. NOT this i3
