What I expect are already on the table of discussion now at Ptrans :

1. Ptrans to sell existing terminals to KIPREIT and lease them back long term. Ptrans continue to manage bus terminals
2. Ptrans to sell existing vacant land to KIPREIT and KIPREIT to construct new bus terminals and lease long term to PTrans OR Kipreit to build-to-lease logistic facilities

On Weds 26th, Dow hiked. FB/Meta went up. I tracked and bought considerable put options on Meta the same day (sleep deprivation next day due to time diff). That had been my plan since their last QR and the rest of the ad tech companies

I have always shorted FB/Meta when I was very active in the US options market before I gave up due to time diff stress (first time I placed puts on it was after I read The Guardian’s breaking coverage on the Cambridge Analytica thing). And it had been my most profitable trades ever. Nothing in Bursa can come close

As for darwin and rookie’s comments about retailers in this counter… there is no way I know of that tells me how many units are bought/owned by retailers in any counter. I just wish Bursa can really expand on this on their site at https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_information/market_statistic/securities . They only reveal total LF, FF and retail for the market as a whole (as well as a bunch of other interesting stats)

Every investor have a right to defend their investment by providing valid points to counter anything negative posted by anyone. Icahn just blew Ackman out of the water way back then

Chill guys. Ptrans is a REIT in disguise. Their dividends are small but they still pay 3-4 times interims a year for the over 600M shares. Including during the several MCOs.

I invested quite awhile ago and I always trade my investment just like all funds do.

Guys, the company has more than a billion issued shares. At 5-to-1 conso, the shares will be 5x less, the price will increase 5x while the value remain the same for shareholders. If say the price is 0.260 when they announce the conso ex-date, the price will become 1.30

And YDPA will then hold around 6M shares at 1.30 as per above example

I haven’t had time to study the locations of all those real estate assets but, if some of them are adjoining parcels of vacant land, then TG can be a real estate developer. I personally think Tan Sri bought investment properties (in his private ventures) for his own reasons. For me, I think his purchase of Icon Tun Razak long time ago was decent but his purchases of Mines2 and the Menara PJD was a bit short sighted imho. These are all using his own money, nothing to do with TG

TG is one of the best fundamentally sound PLCs in Bursa. Their balance sheet is superb; RM4 Billion in non current assets, borrowings are super ok, equities absolutely trounce liabilities

It’s just that the mood is bad for gloves. TG should not be 70cts

If some recall, I traded this more than a month ago. I think it’s worth looking at; how many PLCs can claim more than RM200M in FYE net profit?

TG should sell some of its 100 properties (many are vacant land). They’re paying interest on vacant assets. They’re unlikely to build more factories on those vacant land… or they can become an industrial developer. TS LWC is an avid property guy as we all know
