no need to argue, bursa listed companies quarterly report end 30sept2018 around 95% all in deep shit or multiyears low, company profit in stock market is like a picture speaks a thousand words, your expectation of market up is unlikely, market turns downtrend is more likely.

1.company p&l generally nothing to do with ph gov, be fair, policy may be reviewed or new regulation may come out without changing of gov as well
2.genting group losses aren't related to hike in sin tax, it is due to investment mistake, also not a revenge to gov as a result casinos are paying less simply bcos very single RM spends in casino gov collect 0.35 the new tax is 35%, unless customers are getting lesser else gov income from casinos are higher
3.if oversea subsidiary is making loss off course parent company will share the burden proportionally, i.e kid wrong doing parents have to bare the responsibility as well
4.don't try to teach ppl in bursa malaysia what is impairment loss, provision loss, accounting loss, new mfrs or whatever ledger loss, ppl only concluding it made huge loss
group may incur more impairment loss for the local theme park going forward, share price will plunged sharply no one can stop that, may limit down as well.
