Mr Ooi, besides the stocks that u recommend, i do invest in good quality stocks too eg Dlady and Nestle. Had held them for more than 6 years, they are my golden goose!

It was reported earilier that another potential buy for FGV is the 11977ha plantation land owned by Dutaland Bhd’s subsidiary Pertama Land & Development Sdn Bhd.

Dutaland is Olympia sister company.

Meanwhile Olympia has operations in gaming and leisure, property, financial services and investment holding. The group had settled a substantial portion of its debts under its restructuring scheme, which was implemented in April 2007.

Till Oct 2012 less than a quarter of the debts owing under the scheme remains to be settled by the final maturity date in April 2013. Olympia has cash and bank balances totalling RM33.5mil while its loans and borrowings, comprising short and long-term, stood at some RM240mil.

In Jan 2014, Mawhile Duta Equities Sdn Bhd has raised its stake in Dutaland Bhd to 86.51mil shares or 10.22% after the recent purchase of 16.905 million shares.



Dutaland group managing director Tan Sri Yap Yong Seong is deemed interest in the acquisition via his stake in Duta Equities. His indirect stake totalled 325.43 million shares or 38.46% after the recent acquisition via Duta Equities and through his interest in Kenny Heights Development Sdn Bhd and Olympia Industries Bhd.



It is selling a two ha leasehold tract in Kota Kinabalu to the Sabah state government for rm49.5 million. The disposal is expected to result in a net gain of rm36 million to the DutaLand.

The fair value for Dutaland based on its IV is rm 1.10.

Another stock to look out is Dutaland, another arm of Felda.

- Manufacturing of steel flat bars, steel purlines;
- Manufacturing of wheelbarrows and platform hand trucks;
- Manufacturing of steel shelving & pallet racking and other storage equipment;
- Manufacturing of highway guardrails
The massive construction on both infrastructural, residential and commercial properties had contributed positively to the company income growth.

The company had recorded a 58% growth in the EPS in FYE 2013 compared to 2012 of 4.42 cents, Prestar ended FYE 2013 with EPS of 7.01 cents.

Its NTA stood at RM 1.11 per share as at Dec 31 2013. It is worth nothing that the company had a number of land and properties reserved that had yet to be revalued.

Prestar’s prospects remain bright as the company had been set to bag more lucrative projects, especially highway guardrails from going forward …

There is rumor that Prestar had bagged in the WCE project for guardrails which is worth more than RM400m for the 273km stretch. A 15% profit margin will contribute towards a net EPS of RM0.33 (Based on RM60m profit / 180.98m shares) on top of its current business and operation. The WCE whcih carries a GDV of RM6b will see actual job fully dished out on 2H 2014.

In addition ongoing KVMRT Line 1, the KVMRT Line 2 and the future of KVMRT Line 3 will continue to see steel demand in the coming years from 2014.

The ideal intrinsic value is rm 1.12, a 70% premium over last transacted price of 67sen.

Sources say it is looking at resuscitating the long abandoned project at the junction of Jalan Imbi and Jalan Sultan Ismail in KL.

Should the plan materialize, the development could be MPHBCap’s flagship in the central business district, earning it recurring rental income.

It is located on the same road as Berjaya Times Square, new plans that involve close to six acres in Jalan Imbi are being drawn up and are expected to include an overhead link stretching across the nine lane road.

Assuming MPHBCap is able to obtain a plot ratio of 10 for the 5.85 acres and pricing of rm2000 psf. Estimate the GDV is worth about rm3.5 billion.

The existing unfinished building occupies 1.4 acres freehold land but sources say MPHB Cap’s project will include another 2.8 acres that are owned by the company in the immediate vicinity.

MPHB Cap owns 10 parcels in Jalan Imbi. All 10 tracts are contiguous with the largest measuring 1.5 acres. This parcel is now (April 2014) being used as a car park.

MPHB Cap’s MD had entered into an agreement to purchase Club De Vegas but the seller has backed out of it which could mean that the redevelopment plans may be delayed. The club takes up 1.65 acres which means the land alone could be worth some rm180 million.

Sources say MPHB Cap and its major shareholders are on the lookout for a joint venture partner for the redevelopment which is expected to have retail and office components.

As reported in Bursa lately, the CEO and directors are actively buying its shares, There had been insider news that Tan Sri Surin may privatize MPHBCap once the percentage is appropriate but no decent numbers were given.

Based on analysis, MPHBCap is deeply undervalued and its IV is rm3.55.

I hope PJDEV-wc will hit rm 1.00 by end of May. Hope mr OTB's predictions will come true.
