AA movement resembles the movement of ringgit and MGS. It is under pressure now due to short term holders but the long term holders will indeed stay put and not sell. Once ringgit stabilizes so will AA because this will mean that those short term FF are done selling and then it will be a long wait for either a positive catalyst like AAC to push stock price back up or if that fails then for short term FF to come back in once they feel like US growth potential isnt as good as it seemed which is firmly believe to be the case.

Looking at the technical chart,the counter is very bearish and oversold.The price support is poor.The MACD line is moving below the signal line signalling more selling.The strong recovery in price for this counter will take time.Not at the present moment even with the strong CPO price in the market-place.All the ills affecting this counter can be traced back to the person and BOD that helmed this company.The shareholders should be more assertive and questioning during the company's AGM or EGM and asked them difficult questions.Better for a total shakeout in the BOD and management.

Actually, I think this Eagle High Plantation (EHP) acquisition by FELDA is a good news to FGV. Why good? I believe because of 2 main reasons:

1) that will end the speculation that FGV will be buying EHP. TheEdge/Deputy Minister report/spin is therefore irrellevant from now on. FGV also formally informed Bursa after market close yesterday.

2) FGV can also get back ther USD 175 mil deposit which was paid in mid 2015. Exchange rate then was 3.75 vs 4.47 now. Estimated gross proceeds of RM 128 million just by exchange rate difference. This is significant.

But the not so good news is Felda will be roped in to buy EHP. Hence taxpayers money will be used in this case.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck all!!

@kahhoeng I'm afraid there's no concrete wrongdoings from Puncak so there is actually no case for complaint.

For corporate deals, those are not under SC jurisdiction unless they requires SC approval. There's nothing they can do. There is also no violation of any securities law. Not paying dividend, not doing share buyback etc. or shares being undervalued below net cash does not violate any law, no regulators would even give a second look

To get immediate money, he will hold all the money hat people buy close to rm 2.........They are all trapped. In the future.he will push it slowly up to 2.15 its NTA........then abv 2,50.......
He is not stupid but people investing in this company are considered dumb when they bought near 2.00....Its a sacm counter run by businessman that r non ethical.......
