Ho ho ho...84.7 mil down to 68.6 mil in 6 mths & since the recent price is the highest it has been in many years, they will be motivated to SELLLLL even more aggressively! Dividend already paid out so you'll hv to wait another 5 months at least for the next dividend(if any!). Lots of DOWNSIDE....📉

JTiasa was supposed to be my comeback story of 2024 but is about to be trumped by General Electric next week: bought @ $158.23 on 31/10/17, unforseeably dropped to $35 during Covid, spun off $28 worth of WABTech in '20 & GE Healthcare in '23 & closed @ $173.46 as investors chase after its final spinoff Vernova!!!😘🤗📈 And in answer to green-eyed monster Ytl2023, the marathon streak is about to reach 900 consecutive days by Friday! ☝

YTL in Japan (Code 1773) has just increased by 29% close to LIMIT UP to 135 yen.

Convert 135 yen = RM4.27

Something must be brewing... because Japanese are generally very particular about money won't simply spend money to invest unless really strong growth story.


The above is a sweeping statement. Japs are also prone to crazy, extreme behaviour & their market is famous for 'ramping' which is partly why I allocate such a large portion there: they can corner a stock with small free float & push it up by 10-30X within a year! I believe this is what is happening to YTL which only has a limited float in Tokyo. Otherwise, ppl would transfer their shares there to sell & arbitrage but I'm not sure if it can even be done!

I'm the very first one to notice the disparity between Tokyo price & the local price because I have a sizeable Japanese portfolio & have to monitor my 13 paper gainers there...the disparity just WIDENED this morning to 30%! As I suspected, the small % of YTL shares trading in Tokyo is being cornered, with the peak price being the equivalent of $4.65!

When major holders with recently over 70 mil(now down to 68.6 mil) throw millions of shares per day, better to escape with capital like me & stay on the sidelines first! They are rich, don't need your donation...let degil monkeys like Ytl2023 donate! 👍

Bought more @ 78.5c, a ridiculous 38% discount to its holding in Dayang ALONE & at an all-time LOW ratio of 0.3369 to Dayang's mkt price...YUM!

2 batches of SHORTIES @ $2.581 & $2.557 all turned into cream puffs! Wahahah😆

Weird but I think YTL is being CORNERED in Japan...went limit UP @ 112 yen this morning briefly....the equivalent of $3.50!

SOLD 500 JTiasa @ $1.51 & $1.52. Partial RELEASE of some capital trapped since 2014. Shifting the funds to another fellow Sarawakian timber/plantation co. Important that I didn't lose to that OLD KONYY!

If I didn't sell down 76% of my accumulated stake above $2 recently, my paper profit would have vanished by now....fortunately I crystallized 428.28 of net profit on those 4 partial sales!

Of course, the last 5 dividends totalling $4,537.75 (probably closer to $6k if those b4 2021 are included) doesn't hurt BUT I strictly consider selling ONLY if there's a capital gain...dividends are over & above.

@Berlin: thank you...we determined folk think alike & we're actually stalking another stock in the same sector...😃

Alas, I Q-ed to average down @ 4.68 last week but was not done, so my last avg down was 4.8075 early last yr...the disappointment with kOKtAHi's shennanigans prevented me from averaging down more aggressively...so my avg is still a relatively lofty $5.62, waiting to be rescued by TauRx just like my General Electric long position was rescued by the de-mergers of GE Healthcare & the coming Vernova spin-off...

It took a while, but my prediction on the Gold price was spot on! 🤗

Bought 3,200 of this for last yr's dividend @ 30.94c average, not expecting it rise for at least 2 years...pleasantly surprised to see it pop & happily SOLD 44% of my position for 40c!🤗

Old KonYY had evil intentions when he promote Jtiasa in 2014 above 2.50 & Subur in 2022 above 2.00 [MO as usual of buying quietly much lower & selling to greater fools by promoting; luckily KARMA got him back when he lost $3 mil in Sendai in 2018 & $64 mil in JAKS in the same year👍]. Too bad(for him) that I thwarted his ill will by holding resolutely & patiently, averaging @ 60+c & now seeing a capital gain after many dividends patiently received!

Well, I'm down to my last 1,000 shares of YTL...with 7 partial sales in '24 ranging from 2.20 to 2.54. March is my 'Month of the Phoenix' which was what YTL was for me in '23, rising from way below my cost of 79c to way above...this month, there are 3 Phoenixes for me:
1. Tobishima, bought in '18 & averaged down in '23 for ¥1,599 & which shot up 6.3% to ¥1,650 Friday.
2. General Electric, bought in '17 for $158.23 equivalent, paying out 18% of my capital in the form of GE Healthcare & WABTech spin-offs & which soared as high as $175.81 and
3. Jaya Tiasa, bought in '14 & averaged down to $1.42 in '23, soaring this week up to $1.46 after paying many dividends in the interim!

Isn't it AGAINST THE LAW to be force-SOLD by banks & not to declare a single change in interest since the big selldown??? By right, the crooked doctor should have been sold down to less than 30% going by the price action & volume...

ON HINDSIGHT, Jan 2016 was a terrible time to go long on JTiasa, but it seemed a good buy at the time to certain ppl maybe because after going slightly red in 2Q '15, the co. had 3 consecutive +ve qtrs & another one to be announced in May '16. In my 30 years in the mkt, > 40% of my picks went DOWN before eventually going up. Short-term punting is only for fools who think that cutting loss frequently doesn't cost money, who have the arrogance to think they can EVER predict short-term movements & for snake oil sellers to sell their half-baked trading systems to others who probably never really put their OWN capital at risk because it's easier to teach than to DO.

Almost DOUBLING my capital in a matter of weeks! Incredible, ain't it???📈💰❎2️😍⃣

Yesterday, a General Electric punt in Oct '17 finally passes the breakeven point inclusive of commissions...& on paper I no longer need to include its spinoff of GE Healthcare in '23 & WABTech in '20, totalling a 18% ROI, to register a capital gain on my bet! (It dropped to $6.5 from $20.5 after purchase but has roared back like a Phoenix!) A bigger comeback than my Jaya Tiasa odyssey & much more $ invested! A toast to incredible comebacks like Comcorp, OKK & Nomura( both in Japan), JTiasa & GE!🥂🍾🚀

AT loooOOOOONGGG last, days after my Amway crossed my breakeven point after a 5-year wait, a great battle of wills with Jaya Tiasa is won by me: my original 1,000 bought @ 2.12 in 2014 & averaged down mincingly in the 60c range last year finally crosses my avg cost of $1.4232, not including several short-term trading gains below $1 made from '17 - '23 & also not including dividends! 🤗😘😊

I put a 96.5c SELL order in early morning for my last remaining biji bought @ 68.5c last year...but then withdrew it when Notion rose strongly & I SOLD that instead for my 888th consecutive trading gains day....looks like I was being divinely guided ! Tomorrow I can choose to sell it at a much much better price! 🤗😉😊
