Actually more like 54% returns since I averaged UP @ $1.39 last year just b4 the previous dividend. Today, I notice my long position in Tsutsumi Jewelry(@¥2,128), is back in the black after recent profit-taking...has more upside than either Tomei/Pohkong since its all time high was ¥11,200 back in 1994 & ¥5,450 back in 2006.

Worth holding until Gold reaches at least $2,800-3,000!

Bought more Glomac @ 40c, averaging down on the original 2k shrs bought in 2016 & added to in '17, '19, '21, '22 & '23 which earned $895.25 in dividends.

HohoHOOOO...those who were still hoping to get below $5...you can fergghedaboutit!!!😆

Glittering share price!!! Unfortunately, shareholder meeting saw two dry, stale sandwiches with pauper portions of tuna despite the supposed high class-ness of the venue (Bukit Kiara Resort). Satisfied that I successfully (& mightily) resisted the tempation to run as it smashed its all-time record high of $1.80 in the past 2 days!!!🤗

Unfortunately, I dipped my toes into this one as early as Jun '21 @ $8.40 but luckily only 100 perhaps becos I sensed it was still overvalued but wanted the dividend. Another 100 each @ $7.14 in Jul, $7.12 in Aug, 3x that @ $5.97 in Sep, $5.71 in Nov, $5.33 in Dec and then fortunately stopped @ 800 units. 2022 saw a much more timely averaging down of 500 @ $1.624 & finally 700 @ $1.589 in early Sep '22 to catch what turned out to be the last dividend since, averaging $3.608...SOLD half @ the $3.75 open followed by $3.73, $3.70 & $3.62 to earn a modest profit from what was a massive paper loss in just over 24 hours. Fairly contented to wait for the other half to bear more fruit!

Only the forumer who has a license to earn ikan bilis profit has sold. I have not sold a single unit! Experienced perennial stockmarket earners like me know it's best to hold until at least the last day before ex-dividend to get the best capital gain!

Am RIGHT🎯🎯🎯 again! $5 & above meaning that my expensive $4.90 shrs are also in the 💰💰💰!

Angel stock just touched a 19-year HIGH of $6.89!

Like I said, the transfers of ownership have presumably not yet been executed as the EGM approval has to precede it & that approval was only obtained 6 days ago. The latest dividend from 3.032 million GEastern shrs will be credited to Kuchai, NOT SBagan.

Over 1 million shares to be traded 2day! Only TWO other days in history where this has happened : 22 Nov 2010 & 12 Jan 2018!

A whole battery of call warrants coming due in the next few months @ conversions prices from 1.30 - 1.68 only...if the IBs insist on not paying a cent, what hope of going up is there? Furthermore, this is NOT net-net +ve company!

Great Eastern is trading 30c ABOVE the OCBC offer price 🤗

I'm disappointed by the CAP AYAM standard of the Edge's articles(which is why I have refused to buy a single copy of their publications since 2016...crammed with dvmb ads!) The shareholders' approval was given 4 days ago BUT the deal needs to wait until 3Q '24 to be completed. There's still room for adjustments since the OCBC takeover could be completed b4 then so the 188 mil equities specified in the original deal could turn into 263.9 mil CASH which is a significant difference from the balance sheet position when the deal was entered into. Furthermore, many minority Great Eastern holders are dissatisfied that the deal is proposed @ 0.8 X the fair value of the biz, so the offer could potentially go UP ! OCBC failed to take it over in 2004 & 2006 so I doubt they won't raise the bid just to get it RIGHT this time...

You bet! 😉 55.27c was my absolute lowest price(Jan '23) & 90.5c was my absolute highest.
